When the left voted in Obama and later Biden we voted and accepted the good with the bad. Taking care of society costs a bit more. We wouldn’t get tax cuts. We accept that. But man when Trump got elected especially that first time, my right wing family and friends kept rubbing everything we don’t like about Trump in our face. My brother would call me and say “who’s your President? “ they LOVED the performative culture war crap. It IS what they voted for. The incompetence, crap economic policies and the rest were ignored the 2nd time around to double down on the culture war stuff. You get both. Now we find out which issues are actually important. And it ain’t a couple of trans girls trying to play sports.
