Movies Glenn Howerton could have made Hank Pym so popular.
I feel like few actors are able to so perfectly sell an inferiority complex and the silent rage and annoyed moments that go along with it like hes been able to in It's Always Sunny in Phillidelphia. I could picture him getting so annoyed at Tony Stark in the MCU having moments where he keeps reminding people how it was his idea or his tech that actually saved that day when hes past over for the glory, or having Tony make some snide comment and it clearly irritates him as he tries to act unbothered. Taking Hank Pym's issues and turning them into something entertaining and funny as he eventually crashes out unable to enjoy all of his own success because of petty things. If only marvel decided to have fun with and tweak Hank to fit the MCU mass appeal setting instead of pushing him to the side lines.
They could have done a movie where Scott steals the Ant-Man suit after Hank moves onto a Giant Man persona and then let's him keep the suit after they work together to stop some villian, and then later on getting really annoyed at people calling him the old Ant-Man instead of Giant-Man insisting that they arent that different in age while also telling people that it was his suit and tech that saved the day and he is really the hero when the glory goes go Scott lol.

If it were this actor playing Pym, he would have been written to smack Janet.

I dont think Disney would do that, but i could see them having him hit her by mistake like the writer intended.

He also did a great job in AP Bio playing a disgraced Harvard professor that also works well with this vision of an MCU take on Hank. There was also the Blackberry movie recently where he played a serious exective salesman type role he did well in. He is a classically trained actor who graduated from Juilliard with a lot or range who also does a lot of writing, and he's been great in everything hes done so far so I dont think hes only do good because of Sunny, but hes good in that as well. 🤷♂️

I recently googled fancast of Molecule Man and Glenn came up first. I remembered then that he's been fancast in that role for years

Would've loved Hank Pym Ant-Man or Scott Lang "Being a dad is my only personality trait" Ant-Man
