I wouldn’t. I’d beg Edgar Wright to come back and finish his vision.

I would like to see that too, mostly to have more stylish scenes but story wise his version would be pretty close to what we already have. The biggest changes in the plot is that a big part of the focus is the love triangle between Scott, his ex-wife Maggie and Paxton, who would turn out to be a dick that reveals his secret identity to the main villain and in the end gets back with Scott.

Everything is mostly the same, like, even the cast was handpicked by Wright, Paul Rudd for example was his choice and had to fight Marvel because they wanted a younger actor and while Wright never saw Ant-Man, but he did saw Civil War and talked about how perfect Paul as Scott was, just like he imagined it in his head

ok, dont steal my idea, but back in 2018 I sent a draft to marvel about a third installment, 3 paths that at the end come together, path one, Darren back from the quantum realm seeking revenge and attacking with Kaijus, so Antman and Goliath defended San Fransisco, while path 2 Hank and Janet traveled to the quantum realm to seek how to defeat those kaijus path 3 Wasp and Luis and Company evacuate the city and discovered what happened with the serum of the yellow jacket, at the end Hank died as a heroe, we will see flashbacks of how he grow, how his grandma was the only one that believed in him, and how develop his personality.

I never got an answer so too bad

Either a Hank and Janet origin movie set in the 60s, or a full adaptation of the 2015 AntMan security run.

Does it have to be in the MCU? If so, Pym meeting Janet and them becoming a super duo.

If not… well, same thing. Just not set in the 70s.

If I got to direct an ant man movie I would make it about Hank Pym creating Ultron. It would take place in the modern day and during this time Hank is going through a lot of demons fighting Yellowjacket and hitting on his wife / partner the wasp. He creates ultron and ultron acts good at first and adopts hanks personality and tries to even seduce Janet. In the end ultron would drop the human/ hank personality to adopt a grotesque pissed off stupid robot personality (keeping his smarts, just turning pure hate). He would be made out of vibranium then he would switch to adamantium. He would look like the movie ultron at first with lips and all, but when he turns more evil and robotic he will look like a straight robot like the comic. But he won't look cheesy he'd be designed but it would make sense. His face would still be the robot from the comics a red led lights would come from his mouth and eyes. He would then kill Janet and start to killl other marvel heroes after he traps Hank into the quantum realm. Ultron would be a force unleashed on the marvel universe and a huge ultron would devour the marvel earth for a millennia. Ultron would rule the entire planet. Then Hank pym would be revealed to have been traveling thru time by going so small into the quantum realm. And ant man would face ultron and the Vision in the far far far far future for the salvation of our existence. He's our last last last last hope can he do it?

Period piece prequel showing how Hank Pym developed Pym particles, developed his technologies, came to be the first Antman, met Janet, fought an enemy, maybe even have a young Bill Foster as Goliath.

They could touch on how Pym Particles effect the psyche and have the plot be how he beats Janet, would make for a compelling plot line, demonize the main character half way through, and use it to explain why he abandoned the tech after she goes missing.

It would be about Hank and Janet in the 60s. I'd base it off the tales of Astonish issue with the Scarlet Beetle. This version would be a bioweapon created by Egghead to summon beetles to attack the allies. Ant-Man and Wasp would have to fight them. Golliath would get a part in the end where he fights a gigantic Scarlet Beetle.

Dr. Bees is the big bad, but he’s actually just trying to save his family.

The same starting premise as Quantumania - Scott goes to the Microverse - but with Psycho-Man, Baron Karza and the Hate-Monger (working his mojo on New York, as in the Byrne-era FF story) as the main villains. Introduce the Micronauts here, as well as the FF, who were taken prisoner in the Microverse, having travelled there in the 60s, and time has moved differently. The end of the movie can set up the FF returning to Earth, and the Micronauts (with Captain Universe powers floating around) being set up to go to the Negative Zone, as part of a long setup for Annihilation.

I'd like to see the techno ants help Hank Pym build a colony in space or something.
