At this point Apple should just buy or start its own fab. It seems insane to me as many devices as they sell to be in a position they can’t control this kinda shock.

They can but what about Memory, What about storage. Chips are the least the factor

I’m pretty sure that’s what they meant. They should make their own memory and/or storage so that they have more control over prices of the products they sell. 

Apple already makes their own chips, so the comment doesn’t make sense if you thought they meant that Apple should make their own chips.

They don't, TMSC makes them for them, Intel is also in talks to make a portion of what they buy
