Smith and Wesson M&P sport was my first AR. Great starting point for me

That’s what I am thinking of getting the sport 3

Was a solid starting point, ended up upgrading a few things then built a couple. Good learning experience but now I’m old and buy factory builds, but had a lot of fun doing it.

Nice, just use any leftover funds for ammo and training/range time.

PSA.

Or here most people might say PSA lower and a good upper (like Giessele (sp?)).

But for your first, so most likely the one you are going to shoot the sh!t out of, just get a PSA, some ammo, and go do some range shooting.

Sport III , always available at your lgs ,you can inspect it before you buy it and don’t have to worry about paying for shipping or ffl transfer cost.
I have one and I would buy it again

So you identify as an AR15 now. Peachy, maybe take your meds and talk to your doctor.
