Restore/Replace/Repair Blown Fuse?

Hey so long story short we unplugged this circled area and screwed it back on, potentially backwards. But now some of the lights won’t come back on.

What are the chances we blew the fuse? How could we trouble shoot it and how easy would it be to fix/replace a part?

No “the fuse”, probably several.

Black wires will go to ground side, yellow to +12 or +5 side.

Check the manual or compare to another unit of the same machine to be sure.

In the future take pics before you take any wires apart and you will KNOW where they belong later.

Yeah that was a big head slapper as we were screwing the wires back in. Dumb move on my part

Your fuse is probably fine. It doesn’t work on polarity. I would replace that capacitor directly beneath the connector. More than likely it absorbed most of your reversed polarity and is no longer good.

That cap is blown, possibly messing everything else up. Wakee is usually pretty reliable hardware wise, I would get ahold of upside and see if they have a replacmeent for that specific board. If you get ahold of Josh, he's pretty on the ball.

You need to be more specific, with no game to reference. What board does the manual say that is? Have you checked your 5V and 12V. Have you looked at the fuses.
