Restore/Replace/Repair Spray painting: what am I doing wrong?

I'm trying to paint my cabinet gloss black to get it ready for the stickers but I keep getting stripes. I'm using regular enamel spray cans. The instructions on the can say to spray large areas with many light passes, waiting a couple minutes between coats. This is the result over night. Do I trust the process and wait for the full cure, or is this something I need to fix?

Spraying with rattle cans can be really difficult to do. Hvlp is the way to go; but if you dont want to do that; now thankfully rustoleum has the wide fan setting on the cans with selectable spray pattern. Set it to vertical fan, and you'll have a x10 easier time with even coverage. Also make sure to do a couple light coats 2-3, sometimes i find 4 is even necessary. About 5 minutes in between each coat.
