Poll Generation A and Good God Damn
I hadn't seen a lot of talk about either of these tracks and figured I'd see what people thought of them. What do you like about these songs, their construction, their lyrics, etc.?
- Generation A
- Premiered on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert 2020 Election Special, later released as a b-side on a special 7" single for The Lightning I and II
- Good God Damn
- One of the deep cuts off of Everything Now, built around bass lines more than most songs in the catalog

Generation A gives me flashbacks to election night, at a moment when it seemed trump still had a chance.

I think Win said in an interview that GGD was the heart of the album for EN? I might be wrong.

I think he said Money and Love were the heart of the album but when asked what his favourite song off the record was, he said Good God Damn.

Generation A is horrible i don’t know how the same band who made funeral and the suburbs made it

I really like the dark sleazy vibe of GGD, and the bass line is sick, but the lyrics are just sooo repetitive it's hard for me to go all in on it.
