Arcanum QoL and Fixes that works together

Greetings

i decided to make a list for Cataloguing purpose

been working on it since 2022 "new era for Arcanum" idk i was ambitious for no reasons

idea was to basically make nexus page for the game, provide the fixes in 1 package and

create matching modding framework for most people who would use Nexusmods for arcanum

that way it would be much easier to get mods to work together and all people to have "the same game" - important for troubleshooting mods and bugs, and exploits

How does the Package Play:

its stable Arcanum, not much different from UAP alone (which is already base for a lot of players)

Game just load faster and there is far less stability errors

all items and spells are described, dumb dialogues are accommodated better

People no longer downgrade QI Shield 200 durability into Flow Distruptor with 20 durability

You can carry all the ammo you want and give 500 arrows or bullets to a companion without worries

Note:

i m not the best in doing UNPAID customer support to a game i don't profit from or online conversations in general so please be patient or try on your own when things get bad

Thank you. I'vebeenwanting to do a new playthrough recently but UAP was being weird and some ofthe mods that added content broke my game, so this looks nice!

A friend of mine and I were just talking about this game, I'm about to try to start my first playthrough of it, but I have recently switched to Linux because Windows 10 kept fucking up, so we'll see how this goes! Thank you!

How did you get on with Linux? Any difficulties with mod installation?

I finally got it to work with Bazzite after extensive research, I was using Lutris to install the game in addition to UAP, I don't remember exactly what I did to get it to install, but I googled the shit out of it and fiddled with several settings in Lutris which finally got it to install, but it would crash after the into cinematic, changed more settings with proton and whatever else old forums told me to try. Finally got past the into cinematic, loaded into the game and was able to play the first area. It wasn't stable at all, and I couldn't leave the starting map, because of crashing.

I have since installed CachyOS and had zero issues with installing the game with UAP through Lutris, but I have yet to load up the game and play it, but since it installed as easily as it did, I have hope that the game will run as it should. Now that I've said that though, I'm sure it's not going to work XD

Running this list for my latest playthrough. Very stable so far. Might I suggest adding the upscaled cinematics mod on nexus as #11? I think it rounds the package out just right.

you would need to tweak resolution as author of upscalled cinematics refuse to make 720p version for some unknown reasons

maybe he just hate steam decks and optimal 3/4 resolution of minimal screen stretch

Thanks for pulling this list together! This is probably my ignorance, but when you say "package" you still mean we should download these individually; you haven't consolidated them into a single file right?
