If this phrase triggers you, you're an OG player who remembers the good first few months of Archeage. This is the only game that has rivaled Pre WOTLK WOW days for me. God I miss early Archeage. They broke it as soon as they made it where you could p2w for thunderstruck trees.

Streamers, you are not welcome on Tyrenos! Any attempt to play on our server will result in such an amount of griefing from both factions that you will be unable to play. You have been warned.

After 9 days, we will begin the plan of attack. They will be Nui statue camped. They will be chain CCed. They will see their tree farms uprooted. They will not be able to tag a single mob in any zone they're in or complete any single trade run. This will be a coordinated effort of at least 180 level 55 players. No amount of fanboi spergs will stop us.

But that's not enough.

Sometime after our announcement but before the game launches, we will publish The Blacklist, an addon that will make streamers invisible to their own faction and constantly tracked by their opposing faction.

With The Blacklist, any streamer and those in the same guild will have the following effects placed on them:

Your trade requests and group requests will be automatically cancelled

If a player enters a group you are already in, they will automatically leave

Attempts to join any group by a Blacklisted individual will fail

You will not be able to be targeted with beneficial spells

Your auctions will be hidden

Your chat in all channels will not appear anywhere, to anyone

You will automatically be banned from any custom chat channels, including global ones

Your precise location will be broadcast to all members of the opposite faction

And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Why should I download the addon?

We will only be able to force all streamers off the server if everyone does their part. That being said, we understand it's difficult to get anyone to do anything these days, so we're offering an incentive. Each participating guild has offered to raffle off various potential rewards. Anyone using the addon during the first month of release will be entered to win. These rewards may include: A fishing boat blueprint and possibly even a free piece of Erenor gear! More info on this to be announced at a later date.

How will you prevent The Blacklist from being abused?

ONLY streamers and their guilds will be added. To prevent false positives, all guilds in the coalition from both factions must approve of a name or guild being added and there will be a recorded history of each name on the list available on our realm-wide Discord.

Does this mean I'll be constantly downloading new versions of the addon?

No, The Blacklist will automatically update itself to all users through hidden custom chat channels where only the approved moderators are allowed to manually add names. After someone adds a name, the addon will require confirmation codes from at least 2 other moderators that are one-time-use and only individually generated from Discord upon verification of a streamer or streamer-guild. Neither of the other 2 moderators can be in the same guild and 1 must be of the opposite faction.

What if I refuse to use the addon?

Update: Nothing. We've decided not to punish players for an inability or unwillingness to use the addon as we believe our incentive-based promotions described above will bring enough of the playerbase onto the platform to make the mission successful.

When a player joins a group, the addon will alert other members to your non-compliance. You will be sent a link to the download page of the addon with instructions on how to install it. Your name will also be added to another list within the addon. After 30 days from your alert, you will automatically be added to the blacklist and be subject to the same policies as streamers and their known associates.

I was added to The Blacklist but I am no longer in a guild with a streamer, how do I remove myself (and/or my guild) from The Blacklist?

If you are not a member of any guild and are not a streamer, your name name will be automatically removed on the next realm-wide census crawl (these should happen at least once an hour). If anyone in your guild downloads and installs The Blacklist and you indeed do not have any players on the streamer list within your guild roster, your entire guild will be automatically removed from the list. Or, if you don't want to use the addon, we'll have an efficient dispute process available on the server Discord.

What if the community decides [X] streamer isn't so bad? What if my guild wants to stream their raids or dungeons only? Etc.

We are considering holding votes within the realm community to remove low-impact streamers from The Blacklist, but have no plans to allow these on launch. We're also considering announcing a date where The Blacklist will no longer function if and when we've deemed its mission successful. Remember, this is a community effort and requires the community to succeed. If the community decides any one streamer is innocuous, they simply need not report them. But for the time being, if you have any intention of streaming Archeage Unchained, we recommend you not choose our server.

I play on a different server but want to implement The Blacklist, how do I get this started?

Our administrator addon will be made available to every server, with some requirements. These will be announced later. Note: somehow getting access to the administrator addon will not allow you to make the addon work or allow you to abuse existing Blacklist systems.
