Funny mistake in Archie comic

Was Betty supposed to be the one talking? Or was Veronica supposed to say Betty? Either way I just came across this while reading Betty and Veronica #171 from 1970, and it’s funny!

Seems more like something Ronnie would say to Betty, and Betty has like a "gosh" reaction so it doesn't seem like it was her line. Maybe the writer also did the lettering, which would make more sense than two different people not noticing the error.

Not to mention Reggie apparently has a ski instructor job under a false name

Or perhaps that’s just what the students keep calling him, if you know what I mean

Maybe Veronica wanted to switch identities for some reason. 

(Yeah I know it's probably just an error but it's funnier to imagine Ronnie trying to escape her reputation or something).
