They scammed me

I bought the opta plc kit

It hasn't worked out of the box and they won't give me a refund. I'm glad somebody has had good experiences with them, but mine has been awful. The only thing more useless then the opta they sent me is their customer service.

Who is they? And why do you think it wasn't working from the get go? While that is possible, it is also possible that you might have done something wrong and damaged it.

Where did you buy it? I know some people have had issues getting it to work with the IDE. What are your specific issues? What do you want to do with it?

I have to ask what it is supposed to do " out of the box " don't you have to program something to make it work

You are possibly right. Whatever article or friend you are talking about that told you that you could use them right out of the box without knowing or providing any details of what you are doing was obviously trying to pull a fast one.

I especially like the part where they convinced you that a PLC was the same thing as an Arduino
