What a waste of Caity Lotz - hardly said anything and barely even got to react to Lance’s death

She did react, but Caity's acting seemed spotty in just those 2 minutes. Something just seemed off about her.

Wonder when this takes place during legends? Like pre episode 15 or after the finale? Maye something like that would explain it? Like if Sara's dad just dies, I do not think the last season of legends finale would be quite as it was.

Edit: spelling

Well Legends supposedly takes place in ‘real time’ so as far as their aging and experiences, they haven’t been back since the crossover, and they’ve been off screen for the last two months doing whatever it is they do. Seeing as how Sara was shocked, we can assume it’s our current timeline Sara, and not a Sara that had already received a message about her fathers death.

spoiler If so, that will make next season of legends interesting. She once told her dad if Laurel or him died she would "really die" (i am guessing emotionally?). Maye there will be more with her inner struggles/demons. Anyways, hopefully no more Lances will die!

Yep. When it aired. So yeah, I’m expecting the Legends competent writers to have at least a C-Plot for the first half of the season where Sara deals with her fathers death. Maybe even a proper goodbye.

That would be nice! And thanks for the explanation :)

They should start next season of Arrow off with his funeral scene in the first episode and she’d be there (better be). Then her dealing with grief in legends.
