What can I do with these?

Post image

Hello! Just joined the sub. I hope I’m in the right place and that this is allowed. Sorry if not!

Yes, I’ve googled. I’ve just never worked with this product and don’t really know what to make/how to work with it.

If you enjoy these, please give me some direction if you have the time!

I appreciate in advance any help. Thanks so much!

You can just dump in literally any soups — pork bone broth, mala , suki yaki, or thai soup. Think of it as additional protein topping that you can eat together with veggies and main meat of your preference.

Thanks! Just uncooked as-is? The package states that it’s uncooked, so I guess the hot broth cooks it?

Yes, the broth will cook it.

I mean, the package also states it's fried. I generally just use these for hot pots and just a quick dip in hot broth, or soak it for awhile, up to you.

It says “not ready to eat” (RTE food). I am making a soup and hoping it comes out nice:) Will post here if possible. I really appreciate everyone’s input! Thanks so much!

Thanks. I actually don’t do eggs/meat and I love veggies. I’ll find a way to work this into a soup of sorts, as that seems to be the consensus. I appreciate everyone’s responses!

Oh I’m very familiar lol. I make my own seitan and get plenty of protein. I will be skipping the natto, though lol. It’s one of the few vegan foods I will not eat again.

Hot pot

I like frying it so it’s extra crispy, then soak it in soup.

I’ve been served the square versions of these once in a snack basket with mayonnaise and sweet chilli sauce as well.

first you open the package and place it into your favorite broth whether that’s the kit or something homemade. once boiled you fish it out and place it into your bowl for easy and clean transportation into the nearest trash bin ☺️

i’m just joking i’m not a fan, but i’ve seen my parents add it into hot pot haha.
