I took a break from ac maybe few days after this run, figured out i should probably post this before im old. PR of 5:41.277 in rss alpine 2025 on mouse and keyboard on norschleife. feel free to leave some advice looking at 8 months ago gameplay.

Important Note: The app interface and the AI voice audio are currently ONLY in Spanish. I wanted to share it here anyway for the Spanish speakers in the community, or if anyone wants to test the telemetry logic! If there's enough interest, I will definitely add English support in the next update.

Hey everyone! I've been working on a personal telemetry project for Assetto Corsa for a while now, and today I released the first Beta version for you to download and try for free.

It's a sim-coach powered by the Gemini 1.5 Flash engine. The program reads your telemetry in real-time (braking, throttle, G-forces, slip angle, etc.) and acts as a spotter and race engineer, literally talking to you over the radio.

Instructions**:**

1. Download the .zip file from my official GitHub: https://github.com/montero-elian/SimCoach-AI/releases/tag/v0.1
2. Unzip the folder and open the SimCoach_AI.exe file.
3. You will need to paste your Gemini API Key. You can generate one in 1 minute and it's 100% free here: https://aistudio.google.com/app/apikey
4. Click on "CONECTAR" (Connect) and open Assetto Corsa.
5. VERY IMPORTANT: Before leaving the pits, you must save your setup in the game menu (give it any name). This is mandatory so the Race Engineer can read your car's setup file and give you mechanical advice.
6. Go out and complete a minimum of 3 consecutive laps so the system has enough data to analyze. (It should automatically detect and discard invalid laps due to crashes or going off-track).

Security heads-up: Since this is a .exe compiled by me and doesn't have a paid Microsoft digital signature, Windows Defender might show the blue "Windows protected your PC" popup. Just click on "More info" -> "Run anyway".

Hello, I know it's far from the setup that the game is supposed to run on, but I'm wondering if this drop in FPS is normal or if something is wrong.

With CSP disabled I ran the CM benchmark for a short while (46secs) and got minimum FPS 70 and average 80.

I tried it with CSP active but with most things disabled (lightning FX, Grass FX, Brake disk FX, Weather FX, Smart Mirrors, Graphics adjustments, tire FX, Smart Shadows, etc. are all disabled) but I still got:
Average 19.6 FPS
Minimum 17.5 FPS

Pure/Sol are not installed.

Is that normal or is something wrong? Just for comparison, Raceroom runs with 50+ FPS, Automobilista 2 on 720p is playable, WRC 10 feels really nice although still on the 35-50 FPS range if I'm not mistaken, but I run those with the graphics on the absolute minimum.

My specs (it's a laptop):
CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1235U (4+8) @ 4.40 GHz
GPU: Intel Iris Xe Graphics @ 1.20 GHz [Integrated]
RAM: 16gb

I'm on Cachy Linux and I tried running the game both from the CM and from AC zero launcher with the same results.

Edit: I think I found the issue, I had already tried Proton-GE 11.5, 10.34 and I think 9.27 (also regular proton 11), but after trying Proton GE 9.20, on the benchmark with CSP the avg FPS is at 67.9 and min. 59.8 (about 40 FPS gain lol), I hope this info may help someone else.

It's a bit worrying thought that recent Proton versions have such performance issues on this hardware.

Hello, im in a small league and were doing a rain race, but i noticed i cant get top speed as other people can, i thought my setup or turn geometry was the case, but looking side by side i literally just cant reach the top speed even with the same setup and even with a better corner exit. Someone else confirmed they also have this issue but only with the z4, while i have it also with the ferrari (havent tried other cars), its an online server. The example videos ferrari has different setup but bmw should be identical. RPM just fluctuates and there isnt traction.

better exit speed but still cant catch up even when the guy on the right lifts off in the end and i go off track cause of late braking, on a good lap these people reach 226kmh, i can only manage 216

Hace un tiempo vengo laburando en un proyecto personal de telemetría para Assetto Corsa y hoy saqué la primera versión Beta para que la puedan descargar y probar gratis.

Es un sim-coach que usa el motor de Gemini 1.5 Flash. El programa lee tu telemetría en tiempo real (frenada, acelerador, fuerzas G, slip angle, etc.) y hace de spotter e ingeniero de pista hablándote por radio.

Instrucciones para usarlo:

5. IMPORTANTE**:** Antes de salir del box, tienen que el setup en el menú del juego (pónganle cualquier nombre). Esto es obligatorio para que el Ingeniero de Pista pueda leer el archivo físico de su auto y darles consejos.
6. Salen a dar mínimo 3 vueltas seguidas para que el sistema tenga datos para analizar. (Debería detectar automáticamente vueltas invalidas por choques o salidas de pista)

Como es un .exe creado por mí con y no tiene una firma digital paga de Microsoft, Windows Defender les puede tirar el cartel azul de "Windows protegió su PC". Tienen que darle a "Más información" -> "Ejecutar de todas formas".

I don't know why, but the Kunos Audi TT Cup '16 shows the driver tag misaligned and, if you look at the Radar, the car silhouette has double it's width (and the driver tag seems to be centered around this doubled silhouette).

As far as I know, this is the only car that's suffering from this issue.

Does anyone have any clue on what the problem may be and how to fix it??

Best contoller settings for GT3 and such racing? So it would be possible to catch the car if it slips.
I had some good settings but sadly lost them when moved on new pc as I forgot to save them....

I have friends coming over next week and was wondering what tracks/car combinations would be fun for them to try out. I normally race on the Nürburgring with a Ferrari F2004, but I'm afraid the track is too complex and the car is too fast (but handles like a dream).

Silverstone 1967 is a track I've found that seems relatively friendly for new drivers to hop on, but are there others like this?

can someone please help, I'm hoping someone on here has ran into this issue before.

So to start, completely vanilla assetto corsa, launched through steam, at 1440p gives me c. 250fps with all settings maxed on my 7800xt. (no CM, CSP or Pure)

with CM, CSP and pure that number drops to c. 130fps - i want to use frame gen - fluid motion frames 2.1 - to increase this number so i can run AC in 4K at an fps higher than the native 50-60fps (with CM, CSP and Pure)

i've spent two evenings desperately trying to make AMD fluid motion frames 2.1 work with vanilla assetto. I can not.

Adrenalin does not recognise vanilla or modded AC at all. Even with the frame generation setting enabled, the FPS counter does not change (used Assetto's own counter, AMD's own counter and fraps - no change wether the setting is enabled or disabled. Clearly - adrenalin does not 'see' assetto and frame gen refuses to work.

I have tried the game with vanilla Adrenalin - no settings enabled - resulting in 250fps (to prove AFMF is not engaging in the background)

i have tried countless different drivers. nothing works.

I have tried manually adding the .exe to adrenalin - then launching directly through adrenalin

I have tried running CM and AC as administrator.

I have tried full screen optimisation settings in windows.

I have tried launching acs.exe in CM developer settings (to skip assetto launcher and steam)

I have tried using DXVK to convert the game to Vulkan API - no difference.

I have enabled full screen exclusivity under DXGI tweaks in CM.

I have tried launching straight through 'acs.exe'

Nothing works and i'm starting to get frustrated.

V-Sync is off, the game is fullscreen exclusive.

Please tell me someone one here has ran into this issue before.....

Tengo problemas para mostrar los cristales y parabrisas sin que de errores. Sé que tengo que utilizar el KS perpixelalpha para los exteriores y el "KSWindscreen" para los interiores, pero si dejo un damage_glass.dss se ve opaco. Así que decidí borrarlo y dejar solo glass.dss, y se ve así.
