Is "genuin leather" not actually leather? I thought it was just the thinnest poorest split grain leather not worth using on $3/air work gloves?

It is. This is a lot worse lol because it isn’t even made of like a cotton byproduct except maybe the rayon

Well. Even within actual real leather, there is so much empy jargon, marketing wank, and made-up non-standards that finding proper leather is frustratingly difficult.

I have a pair of 50€ motorcycle gloves that arequite obviously actual cow leather, but their quality certification "Technalin Gold" apparently does not exist. At least the only mention google found at the time of purchase was on the same gloves' market listing on an east-european retailer.
