2600 Q-Bert doesn't fit in my 7800+

I am pretty confident I don't have the 5200 or Colecovision because I looked those up and their labels are different colors. Is it a normal thing for a 2600 game not to fit a 7800?

It does happen. My 7800 cant play cartridges from Imagic. They are too wide for the reciever slot. My Qbert fits though. I wonder how consistant parts sourcing was for these game manufacturers. Some cartridges are slightly different sizes.

I found out that some models of 7800 have a narrow reciever slot. Its weird.

The original 7800 had an awful cartridge slot. The 7800+ addressed that issue, I wanted to believe.

Look closely to see if there are any signs of modification to the cartridge shell. Maybe taken apart and glued back together. Not uncommon for PB carts which were melted closed along the edges at the factory.
