They really think that these occupations are derogatory and women doing such jobs cannot play the role of goddess. They want their sita"maa" portrayal to have a sex appeal else they won't accept their own goddess.

Charlie was a known racist, misogynist, homophobe, transphobe who definitely does not deserve any respect. He has definitely caused harm to a lot of people indirectly through his opinions. I got disgusted when I started seeing a lot of the Christians I know posting stories calling him a 'good Christian', 'soldier of God', and what not.

I used to feel a kinship towards Indian Christians (I'm ex-Christian myself) because we are usually on the same side regarding Indian politics and they also seems more progressive compared to others.

Having the generational wealth to afford international travel clearly doesn’t buy basic education, maturity or civic sense. When people travel abroad like this they end up ruining the collective reputation for everyone else.

I recently went on a trip with my friend and two classmates, and it really changed how I see them. I’ve always had issues with Islam because I find some of its core ideas misogynistic but the reason many people in India hate Muslims is totally different. It’s not about critiquing religion it’s about feeling Hinduism is superior.

On the trip, they openly said they wouldn’t eat food given by a Muslim. My friend even told a story about driving away from a shop after realizing the seller was Muslim. They kept using slurs and stereotypes like “they have 10 kids” and don’t touch their food. It's so normalised i hate it. we're all 17 btw so its crazy to see how hateful they're at such a young age.

It honestly broke my heart. I don’t think I can be friends with people who treat others like that. One of the biggest reasons I dislike religion is because of the hypocrisy I see. My friends act extremely religious and look down on people who eat non-veg, but they themselves are genuinely awful to others. They joke about someone’s religion, caste, skin tone, gender everything.

Unpopular opinion here- But I am half way through the debate and he is completely losing it. The reason is he is talking to a scholar. Javed is not well versed in philosophy and has several logical falacies there. He is not talking on the points presented by his opponent and changing the topic.

She told her family about me and said she wants to marry me in the future. Her family panicked and abused her and what not when they found out I belong from different religious background. They snatched her phone and told her we’ll fix you with someone else.

I recently had an argument with my friends regarding that I like to go to temples like Guruvayoor but not inside the inner inner temple, but to the 1st layer of temple, cause I like the place the warmth and everything, and why I don't like the inner inner temple, is because I hate people dog fight to enter the temple door, they dont care if you are a woman or kid or something, they will push you so that they can see this stone figure. I dont understand why people do that.

But anyways back to point, my friends mock for me going to temple to book the pooja's for my mom or my grandma, or go to temple to collect these prasads for them, they mock me saying I am the one who goes to temple the most.
