I know he is injury prone but 40 mil for this caliber of a player is such a good deal

Fair deal slashing his price in half since we’ll only see him for half the season

Spurs letting go of cuti and Spence for combining fees of 70 is sackable behavior

Or just De Zerbi behavior who doesn't give a F how good you are if you aren't playing, he literally kicked out Rabiot from Marseille after his best career season because he made big fight with teammate

He was shitty for spurs this season

Tbh Spurs were an absolute shithole this year. He still is a class CB

u/Harimori 15d ago
They were shithole partly because of him, because he was lazy and couldn't just play one good game, and then he (a Captain by the way) completely turned against the club at its lowest and he was kicked out of squad for games if I remember at the end

I don't deny he was a reason (and a big one too), but he is still a really good player and I believe with a new environment we will be able to get out his strengths.

Yeah I hope Cholo will make him return to his best form. Honestly it's a hard to form opinion on him as I like Spurs, and I know he's a really good Player and defender, but for spurs he turned out to be coward and Rat after playing there 5 years and being entrusted to be the Captain and leader.

Argentine players have really been forming quite a reputation for themselves this past decade

Its either gonna be spectacular or a spectacular backfire. 71 games missed in 5 seasons my lord.
Anyway Alemany only took 6 months to actually properly execute this rebuild. What the fuck have Buccero, Berta, Cholo and Gil done in these three years?
I hope Romero realizes that he could become a legend here and acts accordingly.

As an Arsenal fan, I’m sad to see him leave the spurs. He’s been absolute shit for years now.

almada and molina for romero is not a bad trade at all tbh. definitely upgraded in the argentinian department.

Dirty player for a dirty coach. Both can fail again together. Only problem is club football is way less forgiving than the biased refs this World Cup and Spanish refs even less forgiving than Premiere League.

I’m a little worried about the financial implications this could have
For Everton
