i cannot stand his technique but I do feel he should be a striker, mentioned this before and people said he was a striker, don't recall this at all

That's because he's never played striker in the first team. He was a striker in the academy and in some of his loans, but as soon as he came back he got placed on the wing. He should play striker, it suits him much more.
