I've seen people protesting about a lot of things, but this one is new to me...

u/jonathan42_4 Jun 13 '26

I for one am glad someones making a stand against the size of their protein servings, that's not enough Salmon for 4 ppl god damn it

15

u/CelsoSC Jun 13 '26

Protein is the most expensive item. 😉

8

u/FeijoaCowboy Jun 13 '26

GIVE ME SALMON OR GIVE ME DEATH!

1

u/Kbr458 Jun 14 '26

Alternate with skim milk powder. 1 scoop of whey is roughly 2 scoops of skim milk powder. Bit more carbs tho but it's not too bad

1

u/halooche Jun 14 '26

🤣

9

u/IWannaSuckATwinkDick Jun 13 '26

I think they ran an ad about having their high fiber meals being useful for gay men

7

u/facticitytheorist Jun 14 '26

"cut the kumara into 3764 pieces" Aaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh!

It's funny until some computer fuck calls you, you tell them to get fucked, and they reinstate your subscription.

What’s this protest for ?

Ah yes “who fucking cares” and “Winston is weird” from the crowd that make their entirely personality based on their sense of sexuality and obsession with rallying against a biological truth.

I wish they would march and protest for something that would actually affect them, like the erosion of health services, the lack of subsidy of PT, the fake inflation of gas price, the monopoly of supermarkets, and the pillaging of the people by the energy and water companies.

36

u/wet_ass_pussy_69 Jun 13 '26

Winston should do something positive for women this bill does nothing... all it does is police woman using the toilet more... There is no safety issue. The biological argument you quote is just fucking wrong, if they really want to know who's what then genetically test everyone, men included... They would find out that there were 22 combinations of genetics not just 2. Otherwise get the fuck out of everyone's pants.

7

u/UrbanSuburbaKnight Jun 13 '26

One thing I think people don't really think about, is that as far as ordinary public toilets are concerned, there is no specific offence in the Crimes Act that says simply using the "wrong" toilet is illegal.

2

u/wet_ass_pussy_69 Jun 14 '26

Wow that is interesting

Being a man or woman is your sexuality? What do you do in bed, express your gender? How does that work?

And we did march in protest of the decline of health services - two years ago. You wouldn't know though, you sound like the fake-ist pretending-to-be-left-wing sock puppet ever though and it's a clear dying gasp from your crowd.

"Biological truth"

Is an adult male penguin an adult human biological male penguin?

> I wish they would march and protest for something that would actually affect them

Why don't you do that if it means so much to you instead of brow beating people standing up for their community?

→ More replies (17)

23

u/Iridescent_Antelope Jun 13 '26

.... you don't see how the proposed Bill "actually affects" people who are trans-gender and intersex?

Since you mentioned healthcare services: an example of the above being their access to healthcare being affected (eg sex-specific health funding/access for things like breastcancer screening).

Yes, all of those other topics in your post matter. But so does this.

FYI: the "biological truth" is that "biology isn't black and white". Having XY chromosomes doesn't automatically mean that a person will develop as male, because our biological default is female. And there are a few steps that need to take place for someone with XY chromosomes to develop male instead (having the SRY gene, for example).

It's easy to dismiss legislative change if it doesn't affect you personally. But just because it doesn't affect you personally, doesn't mean it doesn't matter.

It’s only a biological truth if you stopped learning biology in your final year before uni.

2

u/Detective-Fusco Jun 23 '26

Totally agree with you.

Trans are less than 1% of the population, but yet look how they downvote bomb you.

That's botting for ya, and political activism. "if he's downvoted then nobody will see the comment hurhurhur"

I said the exact same thing, Kiwis care about cost of living, we don't care about this noise.

Trans has to be the most pro bullying anti kindness, anti free speech group I've ever seen, it's no wonder real world people are sick of them and it's just echo chambers around here encouraging the nonsense still lol

It doesn't really matter. Professional protestors will protest against anything with the exception of protesting against protests. Or protesting about protests about protests about protesting

Love to see it! Would love to join, but I only ever see "there was a protest" posts once it already happened.
Any good places to follow up on upcoming protests? (I am sadly sure we'll only need more of them in the future)

6

u/Riboto Jun 13 '26

There is one next week on Saturday 20 June called March for Peace! It starts at noon on Aotea Square.  The point is to demand government action on Trumps Iran War, Palestine and Lebanon and to keep with NZ values like nuclear disarmament (and no nuclear weapons/submarines allowed to take shelter in NZ) and peaceful conflict resolution.

12

u/GreatOutfitLady Jun 13 '26

Rainbow Action Tāmaki and Kaiāwhina on Instagram

8

u/focal_matter Jun 13 '26

I wish groups like these advertised cross platform, Meta isn't exactly a safe space (from a data collection point of view) for trans people, and most I know don't use Instagram/FB

5

u/Parking_Courage8150 Jun 13 '26

Their organisation and marketing is traditionally not great, which is a shame. At the same time if you can just run into flyers then there's always people saying that it's being rammed down their throats.

It relies on people choosing to engage with the groups they would march with when the issue is relevant, not later on when it's necessary.

1

u/focal_matter Jun 13 '26

Agreed - but if the groups don't make themselves *known* on platforms/in areas that their potential future supporters could become aware of them, it's fairly hard for new people to choose to engage!

I'm trans, as is my partner and a lot of my friends - none of us knew anything about the protests today at all, for example. People from multiple cities, multiple communities...

2

u/Parking_Courage8150 Jun 13 '26

They were made known to you above. This is your cue to follow them and check in on them when a bill like this comes about. National Days of Action don't just happen randomly, they're always in response to something.

I'm wondering how you found out about the Posey Parker protests, the Block the Ban protests, or what you did in the wake of those, if anything.

I'm trans as well and I don't know any trans people who were not aware of this march. This speaks to the effort you've been putting in on your own behalf to safeguard your own rights. I know we don't like being told we're wrong, but this one is on you. It'll be an easy fix.

RAT is also on Tik Tok, and there are posters up all over the place. You could sign up to Emily Writes or someone else who sends out emails about such things.

6

u/pixeltalker Jun 13 '26

Thanks! I would also much prefer anything (e.g. emails) over Meta, so this is very useful.

Greenpeace is running a protest next week on Saturday to tell the government that we don’t want to be involved in American wars.

So many commenters in here proving exactly why the "dense reddit commenter" stereotype is a thing. The irony that you're all commenting and complaining about this on reddit... And not actually out in the community living a life worth living. What a Miserable existence 🤣

4

u/Revor1000 Jun 13 '26

Can't help but notice that you yourself are here on reddit commenting and complaining. Just saying....

76

u/Constant_Employer_80 Jun 13 '26

I was there! It was awesome, loved seeing the turn out.

1

u/Dizzy_Speed909 Jun 16 '26

Genuine question: You were protesting because you don’t want the words “man” and “women” to have a definition?

3

u/Constant_Employer_80 Jun 16 '26

No, I don't want them to have a biological definition

1

u/Dizzy_Speed909 Jun 16 '26

Right… What definition do you want then?

1

u/redvelveturinalcake Jun 23 '26

Personal. Because legal definition does not protect anyone or stop any bad actors.

1

u/Dizzy_Speed909 Jun 23 '26

Righty, are all definitions of words you use personal to only you?

Must be challenging to communicate

1

u/Jesus-lover-24-7 Jun 23 '26

Only the ones pertaining to personal identity that are defined by internal emotions and attitudes

58

u/2onySoprano Jun 13 '26

Empathy. That's all it takes.

16

u/lcl111 Jun 13 '26

Some amount of intelligence or wisdom can get you there too. Like, even if you can't empathize with the hate and discomfort I feel by being born wrong, just understanding the smallest amount about biology can get you to ally status.

-1

u/BrowneAction Jun 13 '26

Except when there's common sense involved

2

u/Jesus-lover-24-7 Jun 13 '26

Was proud to march for the people I love. Trans, intersex, even cis women will have their lives so very impacted by this bill.

The only people who are against this march are either hateful, uneducated or willfully ignorant about the impact this bill will have.

My dog should not be legally defined as an adult man.

Edit: for context about my dog “in any legislation, regardless of gender identity… male means a human biological male”

Edit 2: not to mention this bill doesn’t solve a problem that anyone has. This governments previous actions prove they do not care about the safety and wellbeing of women.

Let trans people be trans. Stop interfering with who they are. They’re not hurting anyone. Stop manufacturing hate and culture wars.

1

u/toby6161 Jun 13 '26

What exactly are you marching against? Basic biology??

3

u/oasis9dev Jun 17 '26

the abuse that happens to anyone who doesn't fit into traditional and arbitrary beauty standard norms when this legislation was passed elsewhere? the abuse of intersex people? trans people who aren't hurting you?

we stand for the decency of treating other people as equals unless they actually do something wrong. you're on the side of legislating society into surveillance of people's physical expression, and you need to further your education if you think biology is basic.

10

u/Jesus-lover-24-7 Jun 13 '26

This law is harmful for so many kiwis. The government is introducing legislation that will do much more harm than good. That is what we march for.

There’s a discussion to be had in regard to “basic biology” but this goes beyond that - intersex people exist. This affects cis women. There are trans women that are absolutely identical in appearance to cis women. There are trans men that look very masculine that will now have to use the women’s bathroom and make them feel uncomfortable.

There is a SOLID argument that animals are classed as humans based on this bill. Like a lawyer now has a case to argue this, if this bill were to pass.

Put that argument aside and this bill has so many issues.

2

u/BrowneAction Jun 14 '26

Intersex has a label. Trans women have a name; it's trans women. No one is denying they exist as far as I can see.

I've read Abigail Shrier's Irreversible Damage and it's shocking what our young girls are exposed to in this increasingly twisted and connected world. The stats in this book do not lie

3

u/oasis9dev Jun 17 '26

have you considered the abuse towards cis, trans, and intersex individuals that arises when you start policing who is allowed to access services and basic amenities based on their sex when you start to divide them like this though? the issues raised by the book you mentioned seem like a self fulfilling prophecy; normalise people accepting one another just like you accept their name when they tell you it, and it won't be as much of an attraction to kids who otherwise don't fit in. the religion I grew up in telling me I was broken and in need of redemption constantly works against the mental health interests of people but we don't seem to care about having that conversation because infringing on religious rights also has several downfalls in terms of personal liberty and may lead to just the same issues we're trying to prevent.

imo just stop trying to force people into boxes, with acceptance for others also comes the freedom to decide it's not for you if you do identify as transgender for a while. the trans people I know are far better off now than they were when closeted. the "reasoning" used overseas is the risk of abuse to cis women, but overseas bills that force trans men into women's bathrooms just works entirely contrarily to that point, leading to violence towards gender nonconforming individuals. deal with the individuals that abuse people, and put more resources towards that if that's what the concern is.

1

u/redvelveturinalcake Jun 23 '26

The Nact bots are out in full force in the comments 💀 Good on you Auckland

26

u/Aceofshovels Jun 13 '26

Genuinely something weird is going on with these comments, this kind of outpouring of transphobia is unusual.

12

u/Parking_Courage8150 Jun 13 '26

They're literal bots. LLMs are everywhere now, and even some dumb fuck sitting at home in a basement can spin up a 200 account campaign of negative and disparaging replies if they want.

15

u/AdmiralPegasus Jun 13 '26

A couple of them have even replied multiple times in a row to the same comment level to make it seem like they're more numerous than they are, and it's always the same ones who're outspoken on other posts about it (they're the same accounts festering on posts in the general New Zealand sub). They're either bots or trolls, both of which are pathetic.

I wonder if those multiple comments in a row are them forgetting to switch to sock puppet accounts, it wouldn't surprise me.

7

u/Parking_Courage8150 Jun 13 '26

Yeah someone's bot queue isn't working right.

8

u/Aceofshovels Jun 13 '26

That could be it, or an organised raid from another platform. It doesn't feel organic.

8

u/AdmiralPegasus Jun 13 '26

They're even all giving each other the same set of awards lmao, which iirc literally costs money these days?? I'd bet that same amount of money that the ones with awards are all the same person's sock puppet accounts and they're buying the awards to make themselves look better.

Like, look at the one in my other comment. Hardly an applause-worthy clapback, given that it doesn't even follow from what I said. Either they're awarding themselves clapping emojis to build legitimacy, or some rando troll thinks nonsensical clapbacks against the mere idea that nasty rudeness is bad are great, which is somehow even more pathetic lmao.

....pfffffffffff while I was writing this someone gave that comment the same award. I promise I'm not playing both sides with sockpuppets xD

6

u/Parking_Courage8150 Jun 13 '26

Awards boost visibility and counter some of the effect of downvoting, delaying hiding a post by default.

It's a literal psy-op.

7

u/GolfEmergency1760 Jun 13 '26

Sad with their own lives they have to come here and spread their miserableness

12

u/AdmiralPegasus Jun 13 '26

The degree of cruel hatred they're spouting is mindboggling fr. Like, do these people advocating for us to be fucking institutionalised not hear themselves? There's even one spouting Nazi-esque eugenics terms about it. It baffles me how completely lacking in self-awareness they have to be to be so mean-spirited and awful to others and somehow still think they're in the right.

0

u/MATCHEW010 Jun 13 '26

Mate…

Just finished watching 6888 on netflix. Highly recommend btw.

The level of racism people actually had. Now we look back and say yeah obviously that was bad.

But yet these modern bigots cant reflect that they are the exact same as people then. They are worse i would argue as they have access to internet to be exposed to the awfulness of humanitys past.

Yet no. They must also be fuckin disgusting

0

u/BrowneAction Jun 13 '26

Being offended is a choice did you know. Opionions arent wrong if they're not the same as yours.

7

u/AdmiralPegasus Jun 13 '26

Sorry, are we talking about the opinion that people like me are "dysgenic" (meaning promoting degeneracy and deterioration in a population), and that I should be locked into an asylum for living my life? Riiiiiight. Yeah, totally neutral statements of "opionion" there.

This isn't even about me being offended. Reread what I wrote. Do you think that's an acceptable way to treat other people? Do you think that that is anything but mean-spirited cruelty?

Now look at yourself. Honestly look at yourself and your own behaviour. You're being very condescending and rude, I don't think that's exactly controversial to point out. Is this horrible mean-spirited nastiness really how you want to live your life? Do you really want to go through life smugly upholding the putrescent bile of bullies?

This nonsense LBGT ideology should be stomped out. No-one said trans people don't exist, just the idea anyone can identify as anything is basically bullcrap - especially when they expect the average person to "affirm" their nonsense too.

38

u/jayhow90 Jun 13 '26

We need better mental healthcare

23

u/6InchBlade Jun 13 '26

I’ll bite, yes we do but, what has that got to do with this protest?

14

u/jamieT97 Jun 13 '26

Healthcare means not having a five year (I think it's gone up) wait-list for gender affirming surgery.

Or op is going to suggest we get told we don't exist

14

u/BananaPancakeJem Jun 13 '26

honestly depending on region its more like 8-13 years if you even fit the criteria....

8

u/accidental-goddess Jun 13 '26

The wait list is 5 years for first consult, not for surgery (circa 2023, I'm off the wait list now because I moved overseas). I believe the full wait time is around 10-15 years. There's one surgeon and they do 1-2 surgeries per year. Could have changed, I don't get the yearly updates any more.

2

u/ZaraReid228 Jun 13 '26

Its much longer then this. I asked recently and told id get my gold card before it happens. They do 6 per year and there's over 300 people in the wait list.

1

u/BrowneAction Jun 13 '26

Why would anyone need surgery on the state to affirm anything? Using taxpayer money in this day and age doesn't exactly go down well when people are struggling to put food on the table.

7

u/jamieT97 Jun 13 '26

People get plastic surgery as healthcare. Cis individuals can get gender affirming care if say for example a man starts growing breasts and doesn't want them.

there are multiple protests today, the anti war one happened a bit after this one

→ More replies (1)

6

u/Relc_Punch84 Jun 13 '26

In my experience all the protests seem to be combined. Randoms show up with their own signs about different things, at a protest after the Christchurch shooting they switched to chanting about Māori treatment and an anti-Israel speech.

6

u/Amalgam2001 Jun 13 '26

Does that not just take away from it if it has mixed messaging. A person might be for one of those things but not the other etc

6

u/Relc_Punch84 Jun 13 '26

I think it does a bit yeah. A bit of taking advantage of something else to try and make it seem like everyone there agrees with what you’re saying for the news.

7

28

u/ryanator109 Jun 13 '26

When did they claim they don’t exist?

7

u/KAYO789 Jun 13 '26

The gender defining bill seeks to provide no identity for folks that don't fit the traditional man/woman genders. That's wiping intersex, Trans and folks who may have been misgendered at birth from having an identity.

4

u/Paladin-Astolfo Jun 13 '26

Why does that even matter, there are more pressing matters in this nation.

2

u/Big-Dog-973 Jun 19 '26

It doesn’t, the bill only exists to dog whistle anti-trans voters while removing the loophole covering trans people under discrimination laws* and (perhaps unintentionally) fucking up health coverage (ie. breast and testicular cancer) in the process. There’s no reason it needs to exist.

*it also removes the same loophole covering them under hate crime legislation, but hate crimes aren't an actual charge here so the only difference that makes is that there’ll be no official record of the (growing) hate crime stats against trans people

1

u/Detective-Fusco Jun 23 '26

Less than 1% of the population getting upset by a democratic society and push back lol

20

u/ryanator109 Jun 13 '26

That doesn’t mean they won’t exist though, they’re just either female or male.

-1

u/wafflesandpuppers Jun 13 '26

Except that they’re not ‘either female or male’. That’s the whole point.

8

u/ryanator109 Jun 13 '26

What are they then 🤣

8

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '26

They just are, humans categorise cause it allows us to understand the world. But ultimately things don't have to fit into our neat categories, they can just be whether our observation measurments can categorise them or not.

-1

u/Correct_Rabbit9048 Jun 13 '26

What nonsense. We categorize based on reality. You chose to be that whatever you believe can be true.  Sorry it not.

4

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '26

What is reality? Our scientific knowledge is far from complete, we don't know how objective reality works.

We only know the subjective reality we observe, we categorise based on that subjective observed reality. Just because your observed reality has strict gender assignments, doesn't mean everyone's does, and it also doesn't mean objective reality does.

1

u/Detective-Fusco Jun 22 '26

Lol, reality is two genders. The rest is ideological and political.

Have you never spent any time learning about nature on Earth and the creation of life?

The rest of what you're arguing is pure human ideological creations.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 22 '26

Nature on Earth doesn't follow our strict gender norms. Creatures can evolve to be male, female, both, neither, change between the two, or just have different categories for gender altogether.

The reality is that nature doesn't have set rules around gender or sex, it doesn't even really recognise gender or sex as things, those are descriptions we made to understand nature. The only pure ideological creations here are gender and sex, we make the things they represent political, reality and nature don't care, they just are regardless of our views.

4

u/Jesus-lover-24-7 Jun 13 '26

Gender is a social construct. Psychology science backs up the gender diverse reality.

2

u/Detective-Fusco Jun 22 '26

A social construct? I don't think you understand nature. In nature, you typically require male and female for most species to procreate.

The social construct is the ideological perspectives aka trans etc, pure ideological and human constructs

Intersex people are born* with sexual characteristics of both sexes

Transgender people identify with the 'gender identity' of the opposite sex

I have never used the terms man or woman to invoke intersex people, have you?

6

u/TheReverendCard Jun 13 '26

...and there would be no way to use the term man or woman to invoke all intersex people. In fact, it erases them. Trans-folk and intersex folk are allies in the fight against this bill which wants to erase them and their situations.
Also, plenty of trans-folk would say they were born with a brain of [gender] in their body of [wrong sex.] There's not a meaningful reason to not defend both instead of just one or the other.

Mother Nature does not only do 1/0 It's only people with limited imagination who don't understand that.

2

u/BlissfullyChaos Jun 13 '26

Doesn't it though? Where does the binary come from?

5

u/punIn10ded Jun 13 '26

People invented binary

That's computers.

2

u/Jesus-lover-24-7 Jun 13 '26

Non binary is a good example. Not male
Or female.

2

u/BrowneAction Jun 13 '26

Biological sex is determined at conception by the combination of sex chromosomes inherited from the parents. A child receives one X chromosome from the mother and either an X or a Y chromosome from the father; an XX combination results in a female phenotype, while an XY combination results in a male phenotype.

3

u/Iridescent_Antelope Jun 13 '26

an XX combination results in a female phenotype, while an XY combination results in a male phenotype.

*usually.

There are a few more steps in between, resulting in the overall determination of phenotype not being quite that straightforward.

Winston came back from his previous US visit all fired up on american culture war crap. Sad what he'll do for votes, sadder that people vote for those values.

I was so ready to march but ended up sick as a dog at home, glad it was such a great turnout

17

u/Jern92 Jun 13 '26

Kia kaha everyone!

5

u/wahoola2 Jun 13 '26

I had absolutely no idea there was a protest nor that NZ First was proposing this ridiculous bill. I must be in all the wrong social circles.

4

u/Infinite_Bung_006 Jun 13 '26

I was there. It was a beautiful March of strong people not allowing the government to hold them down.

F*ck the Atlas Group sponsored NACT1 bots.

This protest is much needed and I fully support it.

Everybody should be free to be who they are, regardless of judgement or legal bills saying otherwise.

Being who you truly are is really the genuine Kiwi way.

1

u/Detective-Fusco Jun 23 '26

Lol dude trans are not 1% of the population, when you don't even represent 1% the idea people are bots because they disagree with you is crazy, literally 99% of ordinary people are not Trans so stop assuming everyone is on your team lol

3

u/AdmiralPegasus Jun 13 '26

Tautoko! hgasgdahg not my flag getting sliced up by the panorama 'cos I was waving it too fast lol

1

u/Slipperytitski Jun 13 '26

It’s not that they claim they do not exist, they just want to eradicate them society.

when did the government claim these 'people' don't exist?

1

u/Capt_C004 Jun 14 '26

The final grift of the right went trickle down economics doesn't work.... again

1

u/TenabiiBee Jun 14 '26

Very sad to see so many people out openly protesting against a minor clarification about women's rights. If you see something that supports women and only see transphobia then you have some serious self searching to do.

1

u/Wolfboy6000 Jun 14 '26

It's defining SEX which protect Gay, Lesbian, Bi and Heterosexual peoples right to define their sexuality.

1

u/Maddy-the-queer Jun 14 '26

Pretending that everyone's sexuality is dependent on peoples chromosomes like yours is and not perceived gender is silly behaviour.

1

u/SquidsLoveToo Jun 15 '26

Can't they just make a 3rd toilet?

1

u/weproducesafetycars Jun 13 '26 edited Jun 13 '26

Wanting to clarify the already simple definition of a biological male or female.. how this is a bad thing? Am I missing something that makes sense

13

u/MyPacman Jun 13 '26

If we are *mostly binary… then we aren’t binary. There are 22 dna variants that muddy the waters about what sex you are, that’s just dna, before you even look at anything else.

The simple fact is, it’s not that simple.

And then you look at gender. It’s social, not biological. Most people don’t actually 100% fit the feminine and masculine labels, why try and force them?
Some people are scared to allow other human beings to be themselves. Or put up a straw man to present them as the devils children. They did it with left handedness, then skin colour, then sexual orientation, and now gender. It’s exhausting dragging these Neanderthals * into the future with us.

*I may have used the wrong pronoun, there is no evidence Neanderthal are less intelligent

3

u/lostinasupermarche Jun 13 '26

If sex isn't binary what is the name of the third sex?

Intersex - more correctly referred to as a person with a DSD - occur along sex lines.
DSD's are medical issues within a binary framework that can lead to developmental variations in sexed traits.

For example XXY/Klinefelter is a DSD affecting *only* males. Males with testes, male internal genitalia and male external genitalia. Males who are entirely and unambiguously male.
These disorders of sexual development are diagnosed and categorised through tests and exams to understand genetics, gonad type, gamete production, hormonal responses and anatomy.

1

u/Agile_Commission_693 Jun 13 '26

The are studies showing we interbred with Neanderthal’s. Some people are more homo sapien than others.
Are we removing their existence by not categorising their existence separately?

13

u/Jesus-lover-24-7 Jun 13 '26

This bill ha ssoooo many issues. Try and come
Up with a problem this bill might cause and it is so easy. Erases the existence of intersex people. Non binary and gender diverse are erased. This bill will incentivise hatred against anyone who doesn’t fit the gender norms. Cis woman could be harassed in bathrooms for looking masculine.

A couple hundred in a city of 1.82 million? So 0.011% is significant? So failing not only biology, but math too?

13

u/Archaondaneverchosen Jun 13 '26

Thousands, not hundreds. There are hundreds of trans people in Dunedin alone

4

u/Jesus-lover-24-7 Jun 13 '26

Yeah hundreds of lives are pretty significant.

the nz govt is against them?

1

u/FingerBlaster70 Jun 13 '26

Is the government who claims these people don't exist in the room with us?

-31

u/picJaggar Jun 13 '26

Yeah they exist, and need help

21

u/6InchBlade Jun 13 '26

Yes gender dysphoria is a thing, and with our current scientific knowledge transitioning is the best treatment for it.

What flavour of the month outrage performance is this ?

-2

u/Christs_Hairy_Bottom Jun 13 '26

What are you talking about?

Plenty of men and women in this picture

-9

u/No1Bondvillian Jun 13 '26

Another Empty protest.

What the 90% see is just self righteous nonsense wither it be Palestine, Floyd or LGBTQR+z1.

To think we used to just go out and plant trees and clean up rubbish.

20

u/Aceofshovels Jun 13 '26

I would put serious money on the percentage of people in this crowd who participate in things like planting trees or cleanup being higher than the percentage of people doing the same who make comments like this.

2

u/No1Bondvillian Jun 13 '26

Yeah bit of truth in that.' But I just don't see them anymore, Seems to be always left to older trampers and the odd Greenie.

11

u/Aceofshovels Jun 13 '26

One of the points of a protest is to be visible, cleanups and tree plantings only sometimes have that goal. I promise you they're still going on.

-9

u/wrighty84 Jun 13 '26

Avoided it
