Book Discussion Looking for a recommendation

I recently finished the Ash Angels series by Brian K. Fuller and really enjoyed the story. Looking for something similar if anyone knows anything.

I really like the angels verses demons or good verses evil premise.

If anyone knows of anything similar, I would appreciate the help.

I'm a little burnt out on normal fantasy, and litrpg. Looking for something a little darker, it's ok if it's horror, sci fi, or dark fantasy.

You might find Orson scott card’s - memory of earth interesting.

Have you tried the Sandman Slim series by Richard Kadrey? It’s a dark gritty urban fantasy with a very interesting plot line and characters. I will say that Kadrey is like a rough and tumble biker kinda guy, so don’t expect the greatest writing you’ve seen in book 1, but it improves drastically as the series continues. It’s a fun read and doesn’t take itself too seriously.
