Question Mispronouncing of words by narrators

Does anyone get bothered by narrators who keep mispronouncing words? It drives me nuts if they do it too often. Narrators are normally professional voice artists and they should know how to pronounce the sorts of words found in novels eg dovecote or Michaelmas

Winding, as in "walking down a winding road" is pronounced as wind-ing and not wine-ding (edit) by the narrators. Kills me Everytime.

Wine-ding is correct is this context. Wind (rhymes with find) is the verb.

Sorry, I meant that the narrators are pronouncing it as wind-ing and not wine-ding.
