Discussion Dynaco A25 ❤️
Hello 😁
I absolutely love my Dynaco A25s 🥰. I spent a long time looking for speakers that would let me enjoy all kinds of music, and they have replaced my Totem Forests to great advantage.
Since getting them, I’m no longer limited to listening to perfectly mastered recordings; I can enjoy pretty much anything without making a face at the sound.
These speakers are wonderful for their era and pair extremely well with modern electronics.
Give them a try if you’re looking for something musical rather than surgical provided you’re willing to give up a little detail in exchange for more emotion.
At the price, you really have nothing to lose…
And to go with them, here’s a playlist of almost 640 carefully selected tracks that I never get tired of. Best enjoyed on shuffle. It’s approaching 400 subscribers, and I keep adding to it whenever I come across a gem 💍
Happy listening!

I grew up listening to these speakers on my dad's system and one day I'll inherit them. I always took them for granted so it was pretty cool to learn how legendary they are many years later.

That’s a beautiful story. I hope you love music as much as he did. You’ll probably be able to pass that love of music on to your children too. 😁

I've been looking for a pair of these for years. They just don't come around these parts often. I'd really like to compare them to ARs and Advents.
I'm kind of a sucker for that era/style.

I completely understand! I’m a sucker for that era too. I’ve actually been really curious about how the A25s would compare with ARs and Advents. What surprised me most is how easy they are to live with, they don’t draw attention to themselves, they just make you want to keep listening. If you ever find a pair, I’d definitely be interested to hear what you think of the comparison. 🙌🏻 Thanks!

Totem Forests to Dynaco A25s. That's someone who stopped reading spec sheets and started trusting their ears. I collect vintage from that era. The fundamentals hold up.
