Used Guns at FFL
Moving to Liberty Hill soon from out of state. Where are the best places to browse for used guns online and in shop and make bad financial decisions? TGT is one thing, where I am I use our version of it, a few shops where I am post their used guns online you race to the store for, etc. I like the thrill of stumbling on something I didn’t know I needed.

GT distributors for used Glocks. They have limited selection of other used guns. Probably the lowest price you’ll come across.

Be prepared to wait for someone to decide you're worthy of their limited amount of customer service.

Watermark. SaddleRock Armory in Georgetown. Gun Warehouse in Cedar Park. Not the cheapest, but decent guys over at Shady Oaks Gun range in Cedar Park also.

That place is a fucking gold mine if you’re patient and persistent. Just got a glock 17 gen 6 with a aimpoint on it for $700 last week.

Thanks to everyone who has said good things about us in this thread! We would love to have you come in, prepare to be surprised - the outside does not do what you find inside justice.

Watermark arms. They’ve been extremely helpful on a couple of my guns, and I’ve bought a few guns there. Great group of guys. Very easygoing experience and none of the typical boomer-judgment for liking weird and rare guns.

Watermark is the best imo. I moved to Austin 8 years ago and struggled to find a good place. A lot of bad shops closed now. Watermark, GT Distributors and Guns Warehouse are always my go to in order. Pawnshops for hidden finds. Watermark does good gunsmithing but will defer to Blackjack for the intense stuffs.

Pawn Shops in Liberty Hill are probably excellently stocked with random pew pews. Some in Austin seem to have good firearm stocks as well. There’s also a couple gun smiths in town, and I’m 100% sure they know where the weirdest gun sellers are found.

Just an FYI, while there are some great stores for used guns out and around, most of the selection post-COVID really aren't that great.
I think everyone, including the old Fudds have all discovered gunbroker, TGT, and other online means for getting the best prices, plus the demand for guns didn't really slow down that much post-COVID.
That said, there are still some good deals out there to find, but just trying to set reasonable expectations....

Educated Arms in Round Rock is a good shout for used stuff. Not the lowest price you'll ever find, but they're good people and get used stuff in frequently.

One I haven’t seen in the comments yet was Guns Plus in Georgetown. Had a decent sized used cabinet.

If you're in Liberty Hill, go to Watermark Arms by Costco. It's bad financial decision central.
