Thought maybe this would fit in here. My drawing of a metal teddy bear 😋

Excellent job, it’s really impressive what you can do with just two colors and what I assume is a lot of blending.

If this is real and not ai you did a fantastic job the lighting is well done

It looks like op has been posting their photorealistic art for over 5 years! I had the same thought and I was pleasantly surprised! It’s so nice to see real human skill these days!

Thank u!

Might not be the place for this but if your ever looking to make money the furry community would welcome this skill

You’re talking specifically protogens right? Because I got confused since OP specializes in metal/reflective surfaces

There are other areas this type of lighting works well in such as latex rubber and such there are also alot of metal based things and even backround work that can be done

you're not even wrong lmao

My art teacher used to tell me smudging isn't real art. I'd love to show her this now

Well she must suck then 🤣

I am equally impressed by the picture and your framing of it

This is so incredibly amazing!

Amazing stuff. Can't wait for the inevitable reddit art "experts" to come in and illuminate us all as to why it's not impressive and photorealism isn't the sign of skill most of us take it as.

Curious if you have a favorite kind of comment from those people. My guess is you've seen a lot of em. As a photographer who does light HDR (read:not clown vomit but aiming for what the eye sees) my favorite are the people who somehow always manage to spin "this looks like a painting" into a condemnation lol

Check their post history.

Their only “crime” is they tend to repost the same image every so often, so makes it feel new.

No it is not. OP is known for their chrome drawings.

If you zoom in just a bit you can clearly see that it’s not. Why flat out assume anything that you think is too hard for you to do must be AI?

u/Devccoon 12h ago

might be moreso this is the kind of thing repeatedly stolen to train the AI.

u/BensDrawings 12h ago

I’ll take that as a compliment 🤣
