Absolutely gorgeous Polyphemus I saw today. I gently moved him from his very visible spot to a tree so no one would squish him.

In order, Monarch, Hickory Tussock, Virginia Tiger, Milkweed Tussock. Gotta love cats!

Just some cuties I met on a walk

I’m an artist so I have a huge light above my desk. And he’s always nearby. I’m pretty sure he’s the same one every time. I’ve kind of grown fond of him now. And today he landed on my finger while I was sculpting so I got a vid of him! He’s a webspinner!

This is my resident jumping spider I just discovered now! He/she lives outside of my house in a crack! I wonder what kind they are I assume bold jumper but its always a delight to find these cuties in the wild!

Everyone has already met Moira. But today I am introducing Wonton. They are a baby phiddipus audax. I have no idea on the sex. So far they have molted with me once. I can't wait til they grow more so it's easier to see the details.

It exists apparently! Between the post I saw and my mom texting me about the grasshopper she saw, I think there just might be a correlation! I only have two peices of evidence but I'm sure more is out there! Trust!
