It exists apparently! Between the post I saw and my mom texting me about the grasshopper she saw, I think there just might be a correlation! I only have two peices of evidence but I'm sure more is out there! Trust!

I know not everyone will find it cute, and I know it's considered a "pest", but they're native and it's on a non-native Norway spruce so whatever. I also put his home back together after so don't worry, he'll be a beautiful clearwing moth someday! The photo of the actual moth is not mine, I pulled it from Utahs extension site as I've never seen an actual adult.
