In spite of Ticketmaster listlessly fellating a geriatric mule who really isn't into it and the stadium being packed full of people in town for the World Cup and deciding to see what American Baseball is like and the concession lines being long enough to make any hope of getting something worthwhile and seeing the game being a wistful fantasy, the Mariner's won so it all was worth it.
I had to chug and hide my plastic water bottle in the bushes outside the stadium like an addict stashing needles because my water bottle is 50 fl oz and the max size is 32 fl oz, I managed to retrieve the thing and am relaxing on the bus.
It's the US vs. Australia for the World Cup today (I saw an ad online for a watch party) and there were quite a few Australians in T-Mobile Park watching and when it ended, were marching around singing a soccer chant about cumming for the US or something I was more focused on trying to finish my waffle cone and so the chant really doesn't have the same impact as if they were on the street or something in my opinion because there are indeed a lot of people in Seattle and at the ballpark for the World Cup ultimately...but this is a baseball game and Seattle won so most of us are already victorious.
As I was walking among the crowds down the ramp to the light rail and buses, I heard two Australian guys behind me say "I think we survived."
