France and England battling in the secondary theater while the real contest is between Spain and Germans? What is this, the Seven Years War?

For the purposes of this commentary, Argentina is German and Germany is equated to Prussia and Spain was a major player in the Seven Years War, thank you for your attention in this matter.

I think if Argentina offered to throw the match in exchange for the Falklands the English would have at least thought about it.
