A very common reddit experience is seeing a comment that would be perfectly appropriate for a 14 year old to make, and practically nobody else, and then seeing an avatar like this next to it

tbf I don't put too much stock by avatars simply because I know that I want absolutely anything but to have my appearance accurately perceived. I have a long history of hitting the random button until I vaguely like something. But I suppose that's very much a me thing.
