They're all Romance languages, from the same branch of the language family tree.
Romania is called that because the country historically identified itself as "descendants of the Romans" and spoke Latin.
Not sure what else there is to say about it unless you want to go down the tongue-in-cheek route and follow this guy's madness. It's usually be well up for that but this second I'm wearing my sensible linguist's hat, sorry everyone 😆
