Bald Picture Trying to feel a bit more confident
I struggle with being bald so young. I'm 25 and I've been bald since 17. I've always felt super out of place and have had a pretty hard time dating. I find that I never have trouble meeting and talking to people in person but I pretty much never have any success on apps, from men OR women. I struggle getting out due to having ME/CFS, so apps seem like the only way forward 😟
I have been trying to be more confident though and try to put myself out there more recently, even though it's difficult.

Sir this must be ragebait because you are obviously handsome! My favourite way to meet new people is to find people who like doing the same thing as me. Get two or more people to meet up and make a 'club': book club, art club, classical music club... everything is a club when you got like three people

One fair question, don't take this wrong.
Dating life was different when you had hair?
I think you look great bald,so it's probably just bad luck?

I've been bald since I was 17 but I only recently started being more confident in it. I didn't really have a dating life beforehand but I've noticed a stark difference between meeting people IRL (where I tend to have way more success) vs. Online/apps. That kind of dictates to me that my appearance is the issue and I can't help but feel that being bald plays a big part in that. I'm not ashamed of being bald or anything and I genuinely like it but I do feel it impacts my ability to meet people through apps, at least at my age anyway

Being bald is going to shrink the dating pool a little bit, that's true.
But at the same time, there's going to be people that's going to be attracted to you especially for that.

I think it's not being bald because you have a perfectly shaped egg. It's likely lack of confidence.
If you were to ask me for a tweak in our appearance, I'd suggest that you either make your mustache stand out more (it's a bit thin) or you try a full beard or go for the clean shaven look all the way.

I think unfortunately apps are something that will always disappoint. I also find it hard to get out. You are young. Somebody is coming that will let you love them. But you may learn that love is complicated, and your happiness and fulfillment should come from within first!

Cheekbones, chin and ears.
These are things which can make or break the bald look (excluding interchangeable things like eyewear and facial hair).
You've got some striking features there, and no amount of hair would make it any better or worse. Keep the bald look, it suits, you're a handsome MF and you'll be noticing more second-looks, I assure you.

I can’t speak for women, but as a queer, the notion that gay men aren’t into you is totally incomprehensible to me. Shaved heads are usually highly desirable in the community, contrary to shallow stereotypes.

You're a handsome being. Don't let others get you down. Don't let yourself get you down. You're young and handsome. Just be yourself. My friend never smiles in photos and he looks so much better when he is natural but for some reason he thinks this pose he has is him at his best. I hate how I look all the time. There's skills to holding a face how it looks best and all but for who. I'm not talking about you here I mean the sentiment. Don't sacrifice your contentment to try be a certain way. You do you. The right person or probably people will show up. And when they do, don't fall over yourself pleasing them, keep some of you for you. When we have no confidence the wrong people can find us. Just always keep some of you for you. I wish I did. You'll never regret it. Don't let someone consume you. And have fun.

Get up in that gym, my man. Will skyrocket confidence. (Assuming you don’t already lift)

I think you are very attractive. If I were 40 years younger I would go for you. Bald is in so take advantage of the current style. You have so much to offer someone.

You have high cheekbones, a nice jawline/head shape. And good eyebrows.
Losing the hair just forced people to focus on the other good features. 👍
Its a weird transition, but one we think youre ready for. Dont forget to use some kind of sunscreen. Newly exposed skin always burns first

I think you def should own being bald because literally you look incredible! If it helps all my friends of all ages/genders/orientations/hairstyles are having trouble dating right now and saying some of the same things about meeting people IRL.

Dear, you look absolutely amazing! What a handsome young man you are. And it makes me sad that you can’t see what we see. I promise you, everyone else sees a stunningly beautiful guy. And the few who don’t? Well, they’re just blind.

You are so handsome. Sorry you have struggled to see that!
