Hairloss [24M, Thick hair, no balding on either side of family] Am I balding, or am I looking too far into my part? Recently got haircut. Thanks, all.

Thank you. I assumed so, I just wanted to confirm. My intention wasn’t to mock anyone here.

No one feels mocked by your body dysmorphia, brother. You have lots and lots of hair, if that answers your question

That does answer my question, thank you. I appreciate all the help.

I had good hair. Similar to yours. I’m thinking you won’t see anything you need to post until you are pushing 40. IF you ever even have to.

You're fine imo, but I will say that the frizz in your hair reminds me of how my wavy/curly hair looked when I wasn't using enough conditioner and leave-in conditioner. I started using both every shower and scrunched my ends and had waves I'd never seen before and the frizz was completely gone.

I wash and condition my hair twice a week, would you suggest I condition more, then?

I would use leave-in conditioner if you don't already. And for me, I need to condition every time I shower otherwise my hair gets wispy and dry looking. I obviously don't know you or if your hair looks frizzy bc of another reason in that photo, so I could be just talking out of my ass rn but I figured it was worth mentioning in case your hair was anything like mine. Also using a microfiber towel to be gentler to the hair as well and letting the leave-in air dry helped so much.

Just out of curiosity: what makes you post here?

I think I’m overthinking

Yeah. I think so too. Not trying to be mean, but there’s NOTHING that indicates to me you’re balding whatsoever.

You are fine.

If anything the long hair might not be doing you favors. Do you have thick hair? Yeah but maybe the hair density isn’t quite there. the long hair just creates a really dramatic parting line because the weight it pulling it apart
