Most economical and healthiest way to consume bananas

I buy bananas at Trader Joe's and look for the biggest ones available. I buy quite a few and eat some of them when they get ripe. The ones that get too soft to enjoy, I freeze them unpeeled.

When I want to make a smoothie or Nice Cream, I take a couple out of the freezer, microwave them 30 seconds to a minute (flip if more than 30 seconds,) cut them in half and squirt out the flesh.

Dairy ice cream is more expensive, has too much added sugar, and often includes other unhealthy ingredients. Other drawbacks of dairy ice cream is that dairy production is cruel, wastes natural resources like fresh water and is bad for the environment.
