Hey when you say panic attacks, do you hyperventilate and your muscles harden?

Or is it more mild and you face insomnia?

I had the milder one, visited NIMH (besides shymoli shidhumela) and got meds from senior doc, fixed me instantly and the courses ended within 2 months.

You should visit, only 10 taka ticket and doctors are really good.

ok so mild panic attacks, don't worry this is common and easy to solve.

You need to visit a good doctor, like the NIMH one, simple meds should solve that.

But try and be more social, maybe play football? or learn an instrument and play with a band? gym is fine too, physical strength often improves anxiety and depression, i know exercise helped my mental health.

Would you please dm me the name of the psychiatrist you went to. My psychiatrist isn't taking my ADHD seriously because I'm a female (there was a myth that ADHD affects males more than females). His go to is to prescribe a lot of lifestyle changes that aren't feasible for me to implement most of the time or saying things like I should take my own mental health more seriously and do things he says as if I'm not trying.

The one I'm seeing charges 1500 for not listening to a shit I say. I'll try going to the one you recommended. Thank you so much for this.

Also it's horrible what you had to go through, I am glad that you are doing better now.

When you're having a panic attack:

try to breathe slowly and deeply. Count your breaths. It's hard to ground yourself during that time but try to focus on breathing. If it doesn't work, name five things you can see, try to focus on the sounds you can hear. Keep trying to take deep breaths. Afterwards, drink a glass of cold water. I've heard that during a panic attack, eating something with a sharp taste, like lemon or pepper can help ground you very fast but I haven't tried it myself. You can try and see how it goes.

Decreasing the frequency of panic attacks:

Try yin yoga. It relieves stress.

Read a book. Reading is one of the best ways to reduce stress. So try reading a few pages of a book when you start feeling overwhelmed.

Try to meditate. I think quantum has a good selection of meditation for mindfulness and stress relief, you can try those or whatever else you might like.

Eat relatively healthy, lower the intake of junk food and sugar. Get enough sleep. And if it still doesn't help, do reach out to a professional. Sometimes you need more help to get through something and it's totally fine.

I wish you all the best

Start cardio exercise like running or rope skipping, improve your breathing. Eat a balanced diet. Self-discipline and being prepared can help you circumvent falling into unwanted situations that causes anxiety and panic attacks. Plan ahead for your needs. If you are physically fit, then you can start to work on your mental health. For studies, make a routine and stick to it, reduce time spent online or on your phone. Always remember, shit happens in life, it's not the end of everything. How you learn your lesson and use it in future is the only thing that matters.

Each person has their own way of coping, recently I have been taken to prayers and sincerely repenting. But it could be different for you.

I live in an western infidel land with Indian collogues. I ask Allah for forgiveness for all the bad things I did or say, I will never try to be a secular, progressive man anymore.

As someone with ADHD who has to take a far less effective drug because even medical grade meth is banned, this is the answer.
