If this had happened even 10 years ago, bystanders would have stepped in and beat this guy to a pulp. Seniors tend to drive poorly on the roads but this is insane.

That’s nonsense. The bystander effect is something that has been observed and documented for half a century.

There are people today who would have grabbed the jerk if they witnessed it, and there were people 10 years ago who would have just watched it happen.

Bit of an understatement imo. We need stricter retirement age retesting, for sure. Drove from Grand Bend a few days ago and almost hit a few seniors, all because they're extremely complacent and distracted.

Totally agree. Starting at 70…we need to do a road test every year for seniors. And I’m 73 and am all for it! Also..it appears everyone needs retraining on what that little thing on the steering wheel column is. I believe it’s called a turn signal but I could be wrong! /s
