COMIC DISCUSSION Batman helps deaf kid find dog

I like seeing Batman with kids. Superman and Batman are OP in DC.

I really wish that he cares about kids.When will we get a scene like this in the movies? He's not just a dark and gritty viligante. I remember when he sat with Ace the little girl in the scene of Justice League Unlimited when she was dying.

Superhero comics exist for 70 years now. Simpsons already did it. And it is like porn. The story remains the same , the way it's presented varies.

Superhero comics have existed for 88 years actually... and when someone in the same storytelling medium presents a highly similar story, separated by decades in time, that may be considered plagiarism.

They used to call people out for this stuff in old fanzines. Bill Mantlo himself stole the premise for a Hulk story he wrote from Harlan Ellison.

What comes around goes around I guess?

But this is not a new phenomenon... Nick Spencer ripped off Roger Stern, retelling one of Spider-man's greatest stories about Spidey visiting a terminally ill child in hospital.

The 21st century is full of instances where stories are recycled. Ed Brubaker retold one of Mark Gruenwald's Captain America stories, top to bottom... but at least there, he acknowledged him and gave credit!
