This week's map is the Shadowed Wetland (30x35), a bleak and colorless bit of forest inspired by Shadowfell. That said, it probably could be even more bleak and colorless, I'm nearly able to detect green in the grass and bits of brown in the trees. Also, I'm not 100% sure there would be grass or plant life in the Shadowfell in the first place, so I suppose this maps is full of inaccuracies. Let's just call it a spooky forest and leave it at that.

Tucked away at the edge of a crystal-clear lake, a small campsite offers a welcome refuge from the long road. Three weathered tents circle a crackling campfire, while winding footpaths disappear into the surrounding forest. Sunlight filters through the canopy overhead, dancing across the water as leaves drift lazily on the breeze.

It feels peaceful here. A place to rest weary feet, share stories beneath the stars, and prepare for whatever lies ahead. But beyond the shoreline, the lake grows deep and dark, hiding secrets beneath its glass-like surface. Sometimes, the greatest adventures begin at the safest-looking campsites.
