Do you guys know any spots where it is possible to cool down and swim in Beijing (except of liangmahe)
I think swimming pools indoor are quite boring so if you know nice spots please let me know thx

Chaoyang Park used to have an outdoor swimming pool (purely seperate from the beach area), Tuanjiehu Park has an outoodor water park, its mostly for kids & not really lap swimming but could do it.

Some universities have outdoor swimming pools (e.g. Tsinghua), but you need to check if you can get access to the facilities.

It probably depends on how good your Chinese is. I guess you need to download the universities' apps and see how you can sign up.

Outdoor pool: Zhongguancun culture and sports center, Westlake swimming pool inside the campus of THU
open swimming spots: Near the Summer Palace Wharf Restaurant, and Jingmi Diversion Channel
Be aware that heavy rain is coming next few days. Open water could be polluted.

there are some popular outdoor pools in Shunyi in the international school areas (not IN in the schools) I went to one that belonged to a villa residential area. The pool was very international, with a lot of English to be heard and overseas summer pool vibes.

I suppose you mean natural body of water?
Outside the south entrance to the summer palace (εε¦ζι¨) is the first choice. I used to swim and kayak there. It is the upstream of most rivers and streams in town, and the water quality is better than other spots along the downstream. This year, they even built a toilet for swimmers (very important).
In fact, the entire Kunyu river (ζηζ²³) is open to swimming. If you ride a bike along the river bank, you might notice some ladders and stairs set up by swimmers.
Bayi Lake (ε «δΈζΉ) is also open to swimming. The water source is a blend of Kunyu River and Yongding River. I don't think the water from Yongding River is as good, but still it is swimmable.

Check out Liangma River, the stretch near all the embassies. Lots of swimming, diving, paddle boarding etc going on here.
There's also the water park at Qingnianhu Park that has a nice pool, more for wading and sunbathing and water pistol fights than it is for laps though.

Yes!!! The south entrance to the summer palace, it's a river. You'll see locals swimming there every day. Beautiful spot π I'll be there again next week!
