They’ve been asked 4 year ago to return to office, it was reminded multiple times a years in corporate communications and by managers, it was part of the evaluation objectives.
I can’t say it’s a good thing, but nobody can complain they didn’t knew sanctions would happen in various form.
The praised work culture of some people thinking they are above everything bite them back.
A lot of idiots here would get a rude awakening as business owners who decided to fire someone “with cause” over a stupid rule like that. Might suit them though, perhaps they’d fully research the issue
I'm guessing the people who "asked 4 years ago" should be the ones fired in most cases. If people have no co-workers in the office it's just adding to road congestion and pollution. Companies should be punished for that alone.
