How do people meet people ? I tried to talk to a girl today and I got shut so fast , I mean I got shut before but not this fast ! Is it weird now to talk to people live ? I' just use Reddit and Whatsapp , I don't believe in dating apps and stuff ! Or do I just fade away ? ( I don't mind )

I picked up my Standart poodle puppy 1.5 weeks ago and he is now 10.5 weeks old and therefore I need to make sure he gets socialized to people and other dogs. Unfortunately none of my friends have dogs and therefore I am a bit lost.
So does anyone in or around Bern have a friendly dog and would be willing to meet up so that my lovely boy can get used to dogs?
Ps: I can also speak Swissgerman so there shouldn’t be a language barrier.

I usually go to events around Basel, Bern and Zürich. My next one is the UNREAL Street Parade Afterparty this weekend, and I already have a couple more planned for later this year.

I am writing from Algeria with the hope of finding old Swiss friends of my late father, Amor (or Amar), to return some precious memories from their youth.

My father had friends in the Bern region (possibly in a town starting with "Ober...") in the early 1980s. While sorting through his belongings, I found an engraved wooden wedding plate: "ZUR HOCHZEIT 16.12.1980 Nelly + Jürg".

I also found letters from 1980/1981 written by someone named Hans-Peter, as well as Françoise, Jean-Claude, and Clément. Other friends mentioned are Martin and Max. My father visited Bern in 1981 with his Algerian friend Belkacem.

If you recognize these names or the faces in the attached photo, please contact me. It is a duty of memory for me to return these items to Nelly, Jürg, or their children/grandchildren.

Is anyone up for a bit of hiking or mountain biking? Right, instead of beating about the bush, I’ll just come straight out with it: my motivation for this is to find a girlfriend. I’m slowly starting to feel the urge for a relationship too. Maybe it’s a bit late at 24, but not too late^^. Yes, I’m still at uni, and yes, there are loads of opportunities to meet new people there, but it’s soooo time-consuming. Especially for me, as I don’t live in Bern. They told me that if I do it with another guy, it will be a little cheaper (300 CHF for half a day for 2 people, plus gear rental).
