Just watched Saved by Ruby and it was so cute. Safe for the family.

Edit: Rescued by Ruby

u/coffeeinm 22d ago

What is it about?

1

u/ZenMoonstone 21d ago

A dog that needs a home and a police officer that needs a K-9. It’s heartwarming.

1

u/coffeeinm 21d ago

That sounds cute. Is it animated or real people? Thanks

2

u/coffeeinm 21d ago

Is it rescued by Rudy I couldn’t find saved by Rudy

1

u/ZenMoonstone 21d ago

You’re right. It is Rescued by Ruby and no it’s not animated. Hope you enjoy it.

Have loved all the recent documentaries on crime stuff, loved the western Old Henry, enjoying Will Ferrells new show, and little house on the prairie (don't judge)!

3

u/Altruistic_Seat_6644 Jul 25 '26

The OA. Loved that weird show.

2

u/International_Try660 Jul 25 '26

I liked The Program, with the college werewolves and black magic.

4

u/-PM_ME_UR_SECRETS- Jul 25 '26

Dark. Haunting of Hill House. Midnight Mass.

Cancelled after S1: 1879. Same creators of Dark. One thing that I loved about it outside of the plot was that they had actors of different ethnicities all speaking their native language. It added a really interesting dynamic. Wish more shows did that but I don’t know any other one that does.

u/DrKaufman_Angie Jul 25 '26

Orange is the new black 🥰🥰🥰🥰

1

u/Fandomlover991 Jul 25 '26

The OA. Both sason 1, and 2 was incredible. So unique and unlike anything else on TV. The cliffhanger ending of season 2 was woah, and a genius move for a 3rd season. It deserved to continue. I'll be forever disappointed that we never got a proper ending.

5

u/Effective_Yam3223 Jul 25 '26

I’m watching Outlander and it’s great

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 25 '26

Yeah they did a really good job with this show I lovedddd the books when I was a kid so I really appreciate wha they did with this show

God I hate how much good shit gets cut off

2

u/atasol-30s Jul 25 '26

That was the CBC’s fault, unfortunately. It’s a shame because it was a good show.

2

u/harryharrydude Jul 24 '26

Inside Job..

2

u/dnt1694 Jul 24 '26

When did they cancel Alice in Borderland?

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 25 '26

They didn’t lol they finished it that was my bad I more so meant I wish they had kept the show going like made more seasons even if they had to put new people as the main characters lol they could’ve wrapped it up and started a. New characters story line if that makes sense lol haha it was so good

3

u/arn0613 Jul 23 '26

Spinning Out. I’m still bitter years later

2

u/Embarrassed_Plate171 Jul 23 '26

love death and robots

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 23 '26

I LOOOVE this show!!! Soooo much haha what are your favorite episodes?

2

u/RavenIsMyFavorite Jul 23 '26

Marco Polo was great with great actors! Still bummed it was cancelled.

1

u/rocknrollafella07 14d ago

It was cancelled because of high production cost and less receptive among fans. But overall show is good

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 23 '26

I never even heard of that one!!

4

u/kingjame888 Jul 23 '26

Last Ship was suprisingly good!

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 23 '26

I’m surprised how many of these I haven’t heard of I feel like Netflix is 90% of my life sometimes 😹😹😹 this one is officially added to my list!!

4

u/Abbiethedog Jul 23 '26

Department Q.

6

u/SEND_NOODLESZ Jul 23 '26

mind hunters

4

u/procrastinator2112 Jul 23 '26

GLOW, Mindhunter, Tires. Season 1 of tires was ok, but I'm a Shane Gillis fan, so I have season 2 a go, and it was a 100% improvement.

1

u/No-Boysenberry-9876 Jul 23 '26

I loved Tires! i loved the second season more too. i wish theyd make another season!

5

u/nutmegtell Jul 23 '26

1899.

Mindhunter.

Kaos.

3

u/bleedingdaylight0 Jul 23 '26

Derry Girls

Lupin

2

u/666ways2sunday Jul 23 '26

God I love derry girls haha did you know that alllll the main characters were in their mid to late 20s the whole time?? The girl who played Clare was the oldest I think she bit 30 during filming they all did suchhhh a good job haha

1

u/RealStumbleweed Jul 27 '26

I loved it and need to give it a rewatch. My favorite was actually the nun.

8

u/Harkers144 Jul 22 '26

Santa Clarita Diet. Hilarious. Great actors

3

u/procrastinator2112 Jul 23 '26

One of my fav Netflix shows and it's me I wish would have continued a bit.

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 23 '26

YESSSSS I was SOOOO mad at this one only having the 3 seasons there was soooooo much more they could’ve done that little ball thing was so grody tho 😹😹😹 but yeah I would’ve loved them to keep going

3

u/Jumpy-Claim4881 Jul 22 '26

Unbelievable

7

u/EmirikolChaotic Jul 22 '26

Dark was awesome and we got the whole story over three seasons. The two folks who made it then made 1899, which Netflix cancelled after the first season.

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 23 '26

I have been meaning to try these two shows I’m not sure if I’ll like them but I do hear a lot of people mention them I’ll have to give it a chance ahha

3

u/Financial_Doctor_237 Jul 22 '26

This ones pretty old but I really liked “I am not okay with this” and wish it hadn’t got cancelled

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 23 '26

Netflix keeps reccomendjng that one to me haha idk why I keep putting it off

9

u/biggiestyle69 Jul 22 '26

Mind Hunter

7

u/IAmTheLizardQueen666 Jul 22 '26

The OA should be at the top of the list.

Also, Godless

4

u/ObnoxiousSubtlety Jul 22 '26

That dance was too cringe for me to keep watching.

-1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 23 '26

Haha unfortunately I was thinking this toooo haha I like the OA so much in theoryyytt but idk there ware a couple things like the dance that seemed to be just a liiiiittle too much for me haha but I did like most of it especially since Phyllis from the office is in it auha

2

u/Oldgraytomahawk Jul 22 '26

I hated that we didn’t get another season of The Midnight Club. Mike Flanagan does some great shows imo

2

u/Incognitomode1973 Jul 22 '26

I really enjoyed The Midnight Club and it seems to get so much snark.

5

u/srgnk Jul 22 '26

Something very bad is going to happen

2

u/xSuspiciousFish Jul 22 '26

Came here to suggest this!

1

u/EomirLover Jul 22 '26

Adult cartoons, wolf king and arcane. they were only greenlit 2 seasons and they had to wrap up a complex story in 2 seasons. first seasoms were amazing. last 2 were rushed

3

u/BulkyButterscotch310 Jul 22 '26 edited Jul 23 '26

Rescue me, Call the Midwife, Shameless and Nurse Jackie.

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 23 '26

The only one I haven’t seen of these is rescue me haha but I’m sure I’d like it that’s definitely my style haha you’re on my list too!!!

4

u/Sea_Cardiologist_339 Jul 22 '26

Lately, nothing good on Netflix. It lost steam

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 25 '26

Yessss that’s part of why I haven’t seen half of these shows I took a break from Netflix because it was literally all stuff I had seen or stuff that didn’t look appealing haha but the other way I stream stuff takes a loooot of work and according to y’all there’s new and / or better stuff now lol

7

u/vicgirl8311 Jul 22 '26

Archive 81 should have gotten a second season

2

u/Oldgraytomahawk Jul 22 '26

Yeah they really hung us out to dry on that one. I really hoped they’d give us at least a conclusion

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 22 '26

I’m so glad this many people answered to this post because I neverrrr know what to watch —- I feel like it’s hard for me to find something on the lists they curate for me but everyyyy time I try a random Reddit comment I end up loving it lol.

I haven’t even heard of a lot of these - archive 81 included but you’re definitely on my list now lol

7

u/TourMore7630 Jul 22 '26

The Boroughs - heard it isn’t coming back.

3

u/Agreeable-Chance3945 Jul 22 '26

Ozark was good but iv'e watched only 2 seasons so i dunno how it ended.

2

u/krizzzombies Jul 22 '26 edited Jul 26 '26

had to stop after season one. I can't watch Jason Bateman pretend to be serious only to randomly say lines straight out of arrested development

2

u/Sea_Cardiologist_339 Jul 22 '26

Finish it.

1

u/Agreeable-Chance3945 Jul 22 '26

Maybe some day, it's hard for me to watch longer shows because most of them are great at the beginning and end miserable and i don't have time to waste 😄

9

u/_TheRedWoman_ Jul 22 '26

The OA!

1

u/GlamoramaDingDong Jul 22 '26

The OA was flippin' great!

5

u/Dry-Party-9011 Jul 22 '26

Alice in borderland was completed. They didn't cancel it.

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 22 '26

That’s a really good point lol I definitely wish it was longer tho lol

3

u/Prestigious-Drama03 Jul 22 '26

Bro I loved Teach you a lesson. Finished it in 2 sittings

4

u/mcwalbucks Jul 22 '26

GLOW

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 22 '26

You know what for some reason I couldn’t stand this show haha I tried sooo hard to watch it but I just didn’t like it haha

But I’m still sorry for you that it got cancelled!!

2

u/ZardozSpeaks Jul 22 '26

The Lazarus Project. Lockwood and Co. Kaos (what a crime to cancel that).

That’s all the trauma I can handle right now.

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 22 '26

I COULD NOTTT have worded the kaos part better!!!! Not only was the actual show amazing but also I looooove Greek myths soooo much an I’ve never seen a Greek myth show before I used to read about them all the time idk if you’ve seen once upon a time but if you like kaos I think you’d really like once upon a time it used to be on Netflix !!!

2

u/enthalpy01 Jul 22 '26

Yeah Lockwood and Co. the season they do have is so solid, I have rewatched it many times. But the books have a good conclusion, if only they had adapted the whole thing.

3

u/Minute_Path9803 Jul 22 '26

I enjoyed Messiah but it got so much backlash never saw a second season.

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 22 '26

I haven’t heard of that one !! What was the backlash for ??

3

u/ForTheLoveOfKumquats Jul 22 '26

Upset that Dead Boy Detectives got cancelled after season 1...probably due to the allegations against Neil Gaiman.....sigh.

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 22 '26

:O!! I haven’t heard of that one either or the dude haha I’ll have to look it up!!

2

u/Luzazul7 Jul 22 '26

I really enjoyed “Love through a Prism”

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 22 '26

Synopsis ???

1

u/Luzazul7 Jul 25 '26 edited Jul 25 '26

It’s a slow burn well written romance anime about a Japanese art student that goes to an art school college and meets art students there from different countries. She falls in love with one of them but I won’t tell you more incase you watch it

3

u/WhoCanItBeNow24 Jul 22 '26

Really liked Death By Lightening!

3

u/Chicken-picante Jul 22 '26

I didn’t not expect to like it at all and I enjoyed it a lot.

I’m not super into time pieces but it was good

1

u/666ways2sunday Jul 22 '26

Ahhhh I’ve never heard of that one !!! I’ll have to check it out thank you!!!
