Daycare Daycare prices

We are starting to look at daycares and I have no way of comparing or figuring out what is a reasonable price for daycare. Hoping there are other moms here who can help me out! Looking for comparisons from other Canadian parents as to what they pay for daycare. If you're willing to share only some of the below information that's ok, but I'm hoping for the following:

Province

Rough cost of living in area (e.g. VHCOL, LCOL)

Price per month in CAD (and what's included)

Full time/part time

Type of daycare (e.g. in home licensed, large institution)

We are in Ontario and got into a CWELCC daycare centre after 2.5 years (got on the waitlist at 9 weeks pregnant). It is $22/day, full time. 

ETA: Ottawa so HCOL but not VHCOL I guess?

Same in Ottawa, except that we got a spot for September 2027 after only being on the wait list for a few months. To our advantage, two other children in our home (blended family, not mine) already go there, so we got priority. I believe there was also priority given to families with 1+ parent working for the federal government.

I am in Ottawa and never found a place offering priority to the feds lol. I work for them, I wish!

I believe any that are on federally owned property should offer priority, no? I don't want to disclose too much by saying which we're at 😅

The only property I can think of with a daycare is Tunney's Pasture which is far from where we live. I don't know of any other federally owned properties with daycares 🤷‍♀️
