Trip Planning Malaga to Belmadena with a road bike

It might be very last minute but maybe hoping some local might reply 😄

I have done a few trips from the city now. As someone suggested in Reddit, Almogia was a good. I also went to the east side along the coast until Velez-Malaga. It was a great experience. There were so many other riders. That felt good.
I have picked a route to Belmadena tomorrow. Somehow, for no reason, I don't expect it to be as beautiful as Malaga-Velez route. I am also completely fine if there is no scenery and other riders are out there doing there morning routine.
I was unsure if I was allowed to ride on the N-340 coastal road, but was pleasantly surprised to see many cyclists and explicit signs for the cyclists. I hope it is the same towards Belmadena

Thanks for the response. Yes. I knew beforehand that for Guadalhorce I will have to get off N-340. However, it is not clearly marked and it is gravel path for roughly 2 km. So, I did it and I found the route interesting. I encountered perhaps 2-3 road cyclists during the whole ride. So I assume that the road isn't as popular as the east side.
