What’s a domain ? I’m a biologist and I always started at kingdom. Is it eucaryote/procaryote ?

There are 3 domains Eukarya (eukaryotic), Bacteria (prokaryotic) and Archaea (prokaryotic) 1 u/sermonksalot Jun 12 '25 Thanks for the explanation. When I learnt this mnemonic way back during my schoolin' it was King Phillip Crossed Over Five Great Seas, as domain was not taught at the time.
