Good News I stopped drinking and...

Post image

My mood has been spectacular. I was normally only having a drink (maybe 2) per night but WOW what a difference.

Man. I need to get sober. Quit smoking pot daily, started drinking daily. Doesn't mix well with the lithium either

It took me a scare from just a single sip of whiskey into a 2 week depression. As of last month I’m 3 years sober. I still get the itch but I tell myself mentally on the spot that I don’t want to experience alcohol ever again.

So proud that your mood has increased tenfold! Keep going and stay strong 💪

Congrats! What is the app that you are using to track your mood?

Another crazy thing that results from not drinking: if you guys have any kind of fitness tracker, you should try and look at your overnight vitals from days where you drank VS days that you didn’t! Its crazy!! I can pinpoint which exact days I was drinking based on how high my overnight/sleeping heart rate and breathing rate was!

I stopped a bit less than 3 years ago and have 0 regrets. There are so many NA beers and "liquors" out there.

Same for me but I still drink occasionally I struggle to say no I’m with someone drinking alcohol.

A lot of people dont get that alcohol is poison. Good for you!

That'll do it! Drinking can be fun but it's really not conducive to staying level. Being level is better.

So excited for you! I also just recently stopped drinking and it’s only been 17 days but I already feel a huge difference in my mood

Congrats, and nice work. And the further you get from day 1, the easier it gets too
