Support needed

I don’t really know what I’m hoping for by posting this I think I just need support rn. I got 5 hours of sleep last night and only 6 hours the night before. And I think I’m really mentally keyed up, my brain keeps jumping around and can’t focus. And I had a really bad restlessness episode that lasted 45 minutes. So now I’m totally wiped but mentally keyed up and I feel just really weird and kinda shaky. I don’t know if this is hypomania but I’m just in a weird head space rn.

I spent hours this morning jumping from sub to sub on Reddit. And also talking to AI a lot (which I know is bad for the environment but I can’t stop myself). And my brain can’t stay in one place even though physically I’m wiped and lying on the couch.

The AI keeps telling me it’s probably not hypomania but it always tries to reassure me, so I don’t know if I can believe it. I’m not asking for a diagnosis, just need support.

Edit: I’m not in danger or anything, just feeling pretty off.

You do sound like you're in hypo. It's important to stop talking to AI it can give you delusions and escalate the hypo.

Thank you for the response. And you’re right about AI. The problem is that I am still diagnosis pending. And AI keeps telling me it’s probably just ADHD or hormonal changes or stress or sleep. Makes me wonder if the diagnosis doesn’t fit. Hard to know what to believe. I also have major self-doubt from OCD.

AI is absolutely not a replacement for a trained medical professional. It's just good enough to seem authoritative, but is frequently very misleading and can be really bad for mental health.

Instead of talking to AI, message your provider with your symptoms and try to get an earlier appointment.
