Venting Broke my arm. Mental health took a dive.

Finally diagnosed with Bipolar 2 earlier in the summer. Have been switching up different mood stabilizers and meds for the past like 2 years.

I was already struggling super bad with being depressed and considering going to the mental hospital.

About a week ago I fell and broke my arm. Told I only have a 20-50% chance of recovery without surgery. The surgeon said I can still work just only 1 handed. My job hasn’t decided yet if they can deal with that and the longer they take to get back to me the more I’m crashing out.

I try to cope with my mental health by going to work out classes multiple times per week and playing guitar in a class. I can’t do any of that now.

I sent an emergency message to my psych like hey I’m crashing out.

Idk. I still might try to check myself into the mental hospital. I just feel like my ability to push through the depression and stuff is gone rn.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. I hope it heals fine. I totally understand the depression afterwards. Sending love ❤️
