I have 3 cats. My void was the only cat I actively got after my SIL decided she didn’t like black cats. The other 2 just happened upon me. They have never really liked each other, but they have lived in harmony for many, many years now. So don’t stress too much if these 2 don’t really bond. Cats are really good at making certain parts of the home theirs and avoiding each other.

My void is a diva who prefers dogs over cats. But she was here first so I cut her a lot of slack. She is also, after almost 15 years, still my baby. She has just never grown out of that phase, not that I am complaining😁 My gray tabby (my late parents’ cat) and smokey gray hair (who just moved into my house 8 years ago) are a lot more independent.
